Saw Spacegodzilla displayed at a convention last month, but I didn't pick him up unfortunately. He looks very good.

Does anybody know if they're any city like mini dioramas out there? I just got Godzilla and MechaGodzilla and would love a battle scene of some sort

All these choices and no Ebirah to vote for. I'll go with Kumonga although he doesn't have a chance.

I'm still more of a fan of the X-Plus 12-inch vinyl figures, but I've missed quite a few of them at this point. They're getting too expensive on the wallet with shipping from Japan and everything. With my 1/6 figure collecting habits, it's been pretty impossible to keep up with those.

Huh you're right...no Ebirah. Maybe that means they're already working on him :panic:

Yeah. Those are a bit expensive... I almost bought Biollante, but being $700, I passed. If they made Hedorah I would pick it up in a heartbeat...price be damned.

I bought Biollante and sold him shortly after. Very impressive figure, but she was almost two feet wide and I felt kind of weird having her. I've missed some of the ones that I'd like to have like Rodan, Mechagodzila 74 and Hedorah. Most of them come out to around $300 when shipping is factored in. They actually did make Hedorah. One's in the 12" scale and the other is in the smaller 10" scale. I prefer the 12" figure.

12" Version

.....How did I not know this.....Sweet lord...*runs off to buy one*

Edit: *waits for next paycheck to buy one* :lol

Actually...I could swing the 10" one.

Boba...thank you for telling me this thing existed. You magnificent SOB.

Yeah, at $400, it's not an easy purchase. I've just found it's too hard to keep up with everything. I wish I was a millionaire, but I'm not.

I currently have the following in the 12" scale line:

Godzilla '92
Baragon '681
Anguirus '68
Godzilla '68
Godzilla Tokyo SOS
Godzilla GMK
Godzilla '92
Godzilla '64
Mothra Larvae '61
Minya '68
Gorosaurus '68
Gigan '72

I need

Mechagodzilla '74
Hedorah '71
Godzilla '54
Godzilla '55
Anguirus '55
Godzilla '62
Rodan '64
Manda '63

Coming soon

Varan '58
Godzilla '89

I think I'm just going to give up on trying to get them all at this point.

I'm a huge Godzilla fan. Just looking for the right Godzilla collectible to come along. Been noticing those SH Monster Arts which look cool.

Yeah, :( otherwise, I'd probably have all of those.

Still you have an impressive collection as it stands.

The detailing on these is amazing. If you do get Hedorah, I think you'll be pretty impressed. I especially like the large scale version.

These are the Godzilla figures I've always wanted and they're super expensive. I wish there was a U.S. distributor or something similar to what Bandai is doing with Sideshow on the Monsterarts figures.

This is probably my holy grail of Godzilla collectibles. It's a R/C Mechagodzilla that came out in late 2008. Really hard to find one of these now and if you do, it's crazy expensive. If I ever win the lottery or write the next Harry Potter type novel, I'll get one.

Yeah, from what I've seen of the in hand pics, they're impressive figures.

Totally agree with the "figures I wanted as a kid statement". As a kid I always wanted a Hedorah figure. Always searched toy bins and random comic shops and toy stores for one. Obviously at the time I knew nothing of how toy companies worked...didn't even know if a toy existed :lol, but I kept at it. Now I have a small collection of several Hedorah figures from different companies, love em. These xplus figures seem to be a pinnacle though. Definitely going to need to add it to my collection.

That Mechagodzilla is incredible. How much does that thing go for? It almost became my grail just watching the video :lol

Yeah, they seem to be releasing all the versions of Godzilla they've done a second time in whatever scale they missed the first time. I'd place my bet that they'll release the '84 version you've been waiting for. I was a little worried for awhile that they weren't going to do the GMK in 30 cm scale, but they did and it was pretty awesome when I finally got him after all that waiting.

I'm worried about what the 30 cm scale Ghidorah for the Destroy All Monsters series is going to cost when he's finally released. I can't imagine he'll be any less than Biollante.

While he'll be Biollante size, his complexity is much less. Biollante has all the arms and stuff, Ghidorah is a much simpler design, I think he'll be less.

I feel like X-Plus was experimenting early on, testing which scale was more popular and I think they're seeing the 30cm doing better than the 10" and building that one up now, and yes, going back and offering what was done at 10" in the 30cm line.

I hope the '84 is a bit more fierce a representation, the 10" one is based ona more passive point in the film.
