I hope you're right about Ghidorah, but I don't know yet. I'm sure they know how popular he'll be. I'd say at the very least he'll be $350 before shipping.

I want to pre-order Varan and get Rodan. My Destroy All Monsters set is coming together.

They don't seem to charge by popularity, prices seem consistent for size and complexity.

The details and all on this are just immense.

Sculpt on Ghidorah's fairly simply in comparison and most of the size is made up of the wings, not body like Biollante, and paints' really simple.

I still say $350 at the very least. Biollante was about $475 before shipping at the discounted pre-order rate and she was also in the 25 cm scale. I know Ghidorah isn't as complex, but he's going to be a pretty big vinyl figure at the 30 cm scale.

Yeah, at $400, it's not an easy purchase. I've just found it's too hard to keep up with everything. I wish I was a millionaire, but I'm not.

Sadly, I don't think so, Sideshow and BBTS are pretty much the same on the S.H. Monsterarts figures.

I realize that it's much bigger, but I honestly don't see it as any more complex a figure than Godzilla or Mechagodzilla.

At double Godzilla's price, I'm not biting, hell, for $70 more you can get the new 12" X-Plus '89.

Amiami.com had King Ghidorah for significantly cheaper at about $90, but he's already sold out. Shipping from Japan could come out to a lot, though. Especially if your only option is EMS. If it's SAL shipping qualified, though, you could probably save a little money by going with a Japanese seller.

Yeah, at almost the price (well...used to be price) of a 1:6 figure I doubt I'll bite. Maybe closer to $100

Doubtful, and if they do, probably not for quite some time. They seem focused on the 90's films, and at the moment they seem like they're winding down, Ghidorah's one of the last we know of that's coming out and not even a hint at anything more coming.
