Fine by me. Means they have faith enough for it to be a summer movie

Not only that, but that's 2 more months of work to put into the CGI, which is pivotal, there are 4 iconic monsters from this franchise appearing, they gave Godzilla himself the justice he deserved, I would expect nothing less for Rodan, Mothra and Ghidorah.

Word is something may be shown or presented during SDCC, hopefully things the general public can see.

Ahhhh, well, we'll see if they live up to their word, but the production team has said since the sequels were announced, they understand that disappointment with the first film and plan to satisfy with this one, and based on Kong, I think they do get what matters most in a monster movie.

Well, that's not official marketing per-se, the director posted it, not the film's official feed.

I think they expect most people to associate Monster Zero to the classic 60s movie and not think about lack of monster action in the previous film.

This right here is correct the 60's Godzilla flicks use the term monster zero especially in the astro monsters which was the name of King Ghidorah.

Yeah well i’m just being a **** towards this movie as punishment for 2014 transgressions lol

To this day I will say those muto were the laziest design I’ve ever seen on a monster in a big budget modern movie. Just paint it black and rip off clover field and call it a day. I hate the whole long feet small body crap that’s in most monster movies today. Movie should of just had Godzilla tbh

Yeah the acting after Johnson was killed was pretty bad....

I thought they did a good job of showing the Monsters only from the human perspective, and infrequently.

Left the audience wanting more is a good thing....better that then over showing and revealing bad CGI....

Like Kong....

I actually could have done with seeing a bit less of him, and those creatures...

Actually that film would have benefited from about 20 minutes less....

I liked GZ 14 as well, but Aaron Taylor Johnson turned in one of the worst acting performances I’ve seen.

To be fair I think that was more to do with the script and the way his character was written. It would have been better to focus more on Cranston and his eccentric character than a generic military man with his emotions in check. But I guess Hollywood just prefers younger talent to take up the main role.

ATJ was great in Nocturnal Animals though, even outshining Gyllenhaal I would argue.
