I’ve read rumor that this movie will follow the ‘74 Mechagodzilla plot in that Godzilla gets whooped in his first confrontation with Ghidorah, and then the military helps him boost his strength and this may explain his evolved look and powers, all the shots of him appear from one point in the movie only.

Same source also validates my Boston theory. Must temper excitement.

From what we’ve seen so far, his spines are different for at least some part of the film. All of them have a very ‘54 style to them and are bigger, the outer 2 rows also have numerous more spines where in 2014 he almost had just a single middle row.







Additionally, his atomic ray, now his neck glows similar to Shin and the beam itself is now a more solid stream and his spines glow more, like it’s intensified, plus the glowing eyes.

Of course he does, Ghidorah is the King! Takes many monsters to defeat him.

G get beaten by the Military industrial complex and their control over Ghidorah .

Rodan will be an ancient cult god they set free to punish humanity.

Mille will have to commune with Mothra to get it to help G defeat Ghodorah.

That's likely the atomic beam building up in his stomach that's making it stick out. He eats what he wants but his diet is mainly republicans.

I hope we don't get more complaints about his feet being 'too stumpy' when it makes perfect sense for a creature of that size to have something that supports his massive weight.

But yeah I guess they will need to connect it to the plot somehow.

I love the bigger spines, solid breath and glowing eyes but the belly not so much reminds me of Homer Simpson and mine too much.

Thats the first films explanation its good enough for me.

Start asking biological questions like that and its easy to punch huge holes in every sci fi , fantasy film ever made.
