My C4 Print...

Hey, Everybody....

Just got back from the Bataan Death March of Fun that was STAR WARS Celebration 4. Thank you, Los Angeles, good night!

I want to thank everyone who made my Nouveau Leia litho a success; I sold out by noon on Friday. I feel really bad for everyone who wasn't able to get one. We sold over 200 of them at the show itself, since I didn't take pre-orders and only the wise & kind JJ Torres was permitted to grab several for Yahoo group members who were unable to attend. If it was up to me, I would have printed 2000 of them, and everyone could have one.

As for evilBay... we DO have a very small handful of Artist's Proofs left over after Lucasfilm got their stack. We are considering putting one or two on eBay, so dig into your sofas and grab your extra quarters now, as anyone interested might be in a minor bidding war.

Celebration 4 was wacky fun & tiring work. I met a lot of cool folks, and finally got to put a few faces with names. I managed to get all the exclusives that I wanted.... the SS Luke, the Medicom Sandtrooper, and the photo set from the picture folks. I managed to stumble onto a GG Gree minibust, and that was a treat as I wrote THAT one off as a "never happen!" acquisition.

Thanks again to everyone, and I hope Celebration Europe goes as well. It's only 3 days long.......yay!

And Adam do you have any AP Yoda "Sugar" laying around??? Please???

Adam, do you sell other prints on a site? I'd be interested in buying other limited edition prints.

I've seen some stuff of eBay but I'd prefer to buy it from an official site and have a set price... I don't want to get too excited and bid £1,000,000 for one! ... unless it was a really nice print! :chew

As I can no longer buy statues due to space, I might need to start spending my money on posters and prints! I got your Leia print via the Yahoo group and this will be my first... can't bloody wait!

I like the look of the colour Star Wars art on your C4 backdrop!

Pimp Daddy Yoda and his Hottie Jedi *****es (as I like to call it) was never a print. It's just not the sort of art Lucasfilm is likely to approve. It was created for a convention in Dallas; and used as thier convention book cover.

we DON'T sell prints on a website. Since most of Adam's artwork (99.9% of it) is licensed characters, and we don't hold the license, we do prints while the companies Adam works with are nice enough to look the other way. We are careful not to abuse these folks' generosity, and fear going official with them on a website would do just that. So until Adam has the time to do prints of characters he either owns, or are non-licensed (Miscellaneous girl in latex #14) we won't be selling off a website anytime soon.

From what I've heard the Leia Print was the big hit of the art available. Like Adam said, it's too bad the run couldn't have been about 10x larger. It's really unfortunate that so many fans won't be able to get this.

Jason Palmer's Padme print was a huge hit as well, though I am not sure if it sold out. Dorman's sold out on Friday, too.

I'm just glad I was able to pick up all of the prints I wanted, including Adam's and the McQuarrie ones. :chew

All told, I dropped over $700 on artwork alone.

I said that the Nouveau Leia was the only one I wanted, but I did pick up the Cat Staggs one and one other.

I have to say that ALL the artists were so very nice and eager to chat. I know if I'd been sitting there all weekend I don't think I'd be able to maintain that kind of cheerfulness.

Thanks for picking that up Ali! I'm am very flattered some of you had my print on the top of your lists. Like Ali said, I have been contacted my Star Wars shop and will be talking to them in a day or two..once I get over the CIV Exclusive Con Crud...I think I am dying...
