Did anyone try the weather cheat yet? The snow is nice, sucks it doesn't accumulate and sometimes it glitches out and the entire map and sky turn completely white leaving only you and or vehicle visible.

While I am really enjoying the updated controls of GTA V - its the best control set up/feel of any gta, the story is not really grabbing me thus far. Its fun, but mostly forgettable. Enjoyed the story more in GTA IV due to the family connection - more to lose vibe

Indeed. The only shining spot in the story is Trevor's antics.

Have yet to get to him. I do like Michael and Franklin as characters - Michaels plight felt a little tacked on, whereas Franklin's is pretty cool, but if I hear 'n' this and 'n' that one more time, I am gonna slap myself. I may have to go back and replay San Andreas though - that's the one GTA I kinda stopped pretty early on

Have yet to get to him. He just seems like he was added on to make it a more than just one selectable race. He doesn't really have any problems compared to the other two characters.

Trevor is definitely the best character Since Tommy Vercetti.

I think the game speaks to alot of life positions people go through.

Franklin is the man stuck in his surroundings wanting to escape.
Michaels is the man in a loveless marriage, kids who have outgrown him and basically whose best days are behind him.
Trevor is the animal people don't want to be exactly but want to embody and can't because of civilisation and morality

I hope this will be possible with GTA V. I'm going to have to trade in my PS3 when the PS4 hits so I'm only hoping for this will happen but I won't hold my breath. If they make me double dip then I won't be happy but it's better than nothing.

Bought the boat property north top of the map (Trevor only) got my submarine with scuba diving accessories. Finding toxic nuclear waste. Scary how huge the underwater world is.


oh and Grove st is over run with Ballas. Dangerous going there, go there with a big gun. Lol

This game is tied with red dead for me as my fave game of this gen and I've not even finished it yet!

I made the mistake of jacking a car at gunpoint in that part of LS, about 6 people opened fire at me and i was dead in 5 seconds

The reason grove street is different is because its not the PS2 era grove street so cj ryder sweet smoke their houses never existed here nor did they. Franklins gang are not even called the GSF(grove street families) they are the CGF(chamberlain Gangsters families) the successors to GSF

This does take place in the same timeline though. In dialogue Lamar & Franklin mention the Grove Street gang and how they retured or disappeared, can't recall. Plus Lester mentioned an east european in Linerty City as possible heist recruit

no it does not. The HD and 3D era are two seperate timelines Yes grove street and the GSF exists in both, but they are two entirely different versions. The GSF in this was never run by CJ,smoke,ryder and sweet the OG's while mentioned where never named. The GSF became the CGF and moved to strawberry/chamberlain hills once the OG's left and the ballas took over grove street. GTA v version of grove street is located in the Davis neigbourhood (balla turf). Grove street is SA was located in Ganton (GSF turf).

As for lester mentioning niko of course he does IV and V are in the HD era timeline so they coexist
