It was my understanding that they were waiting to see the tally from the DVD/BR sales before confirming.

Lets just hope the DVD/BR Sales will be enough then.
Would like to see a couple more movies at least...there's plenty of scope for them.

I've bought just about everything Green Lantern at Barnes and Noble. The GF said she would shun me if I started buying stuff up at Toys R US. I'll probably end up buying the movie on iTunes, and holding out for a Steelbook release down the road.

I've pre-ordered the Blu-Ray steelbook this morning but figure wise it's hard to find them here.
Toys R Us stock them & I've grabbed the main players but after that there isnt much left.

Saw it twice in 3D, and I'll get the Blu for sure. Doubt I'll get the HT's due to all of the bat-stuff coming out, but maybe.

I'm going to wait for them to officially declare another sequel with Ryan Reynolds before I get a Hot Toy Green Lantern. Otherwise, there's just too many great releases in 2012 with the avengers and the DKR.

If the rumors of a JLA movie following the Avengers format is true we will see another GL movie. Even if there wasn't I'd still get this. GL is awesome and will go great with my SR Superman and TDK Batman.

They need to get things right with making the lone superhero movie first before they get into the ensemble movie.
The green lantern movie rated a 7 out of 10 for me. I feel that they concentrated too much about the Corps than Hal Jordan being Green lantern first and being a superhero on earth.
DC shouldn't try to compete with Marvel in movies right now since marvel is ahead of the curve. If DC sends out a rushed JLA and it flops, it might be the doom of DC movies.

No disrespect to fans of the Smallville Scooby gang, but if that's how DC/WB looks at team-based heroes, JLA is ____ed for the non-tween audience.

I agree, the "Junior Lifeguards of America" is more of a joke for me as it's name given by the writers.
Even Marvel has problems when it comes to superteams. With x-men, their best team movies to date, even though there are a lot of superheroes only one or two can hold the spotlight. The rest are just for giggles and show. There's just not enough time to build a story involving all members in two hours.

I hope the new Green lantern animation goes through. I hope it comes out right.
