Same here. Two sculpts for me please.

Cap America should have got two head sculpts. Theres no way this will get them.

And for the same reason, he spends a lot of the film without the mask on in costume. That and both are one offs. Cap will get another figure and they will include it.

That would be a really neat idea. Though I have a feeling for efficiencies sake, they'll just sculpt the mask on the head.

They did the magnet thing to hold the goggles for Abe Sapien, it works great...

Oh I know. They did it for a Resident Evil figures earpiece as well. It's a fantastic idea.

Given that the suit (including the mask) was supposed to be a second skin I doubt you'll get a magnetic mask. It'd stick out much too far to be even near accurate. I actually think you'll get a second head with the mask outlined over the face and then painted in to give that tight to the face look that Reynolds had.

Didn't the mask alter the structure of his face slightly too? So yeah, if so, we'd need an alternate head.

Like the Mike said, a detachable mask would just end up being too thick me thinks.

Looked like it changed the structure around his brow and eyes:

Yeah, you couldn't accurately achieve that look with a magnetized mask. Not without making it look cheap and kiddie anyway.

I think you guys are right, i think it would have to be designed from the ground up as a part of his face and done with usual HT standards in head sculpting and painting.

I just dont want a cheesy looking sculted mask that looks a mess.

Yeah, digitally it added brows and a sunken appearance to the eyes, I don't see how we could really achieve this:

with a magnetic mask without looking too bulky. As you can see the only "ridges" are around the eyes whereas the edges of the actual mask are flush with his face.

If you look at the Comedian, who has a similar design, he has an added mask that is sunk into the face. Ill bet that's what we will get with this. I really doubt it will be just painted on.
