If you look at the Comedian, who has a similar design, he has an added mask that is sunk into the face. Ill bet that's what we will get with this. I really doubt it will be just painted on.

Depends. The Comedian's mask was in fact a mask with ridges around all parts:

As you can see above with Reynold's GL mask, the edges of the actual mask look actually painted on the face. It will really depend on how much the guys over at HT want to stick to accuracy in terms of look.

I'd be ok with HT taking some artistic liberty with the mask. It looked horrible in the movie

We need at the very least, like Iron Man, a light-up chest and light-up forearm that makes a closed-fist ring hand and any other "ring" accessories that plug into it glow.

Well Warner Bros says THERE WILL be a GL sequel, soooo it's a matter if Ryan will play Hal or another actor?

I really don't understand the whining considering there are umpteen other lines I'd personally like to see them cancel (like Sucker Punch, Spider-Man 3, Avatard and MGS) but I'm not being a tittybaby and trolling those threads with crybaby rants.

If Sideshow even hints at releasing their own 1/6 figures for TDKR and the GL sequel, my HT figures are up on the Bay in a heartbeat. While I can already guess the paints won't be near as good, at least they know how to cure rubber suits properly.

for 1/6 figures Hot Toys are the Kate Upton to Sideshow's Nikki Reed, both are good looking, but one is clearly better.

I'll give you paints, which I admitted to previously, but I think they're tied on head sculpts. Both have hits and misses. Bodies will be dependent on how the new Joe bods turn out (they look to be more articulated than HT's muscle bods. Looking at the Joes, I actually find their clothes tailored a hell of a lot better than HT's stuff. But when it comes to rubber suits, all I have to do is look at my Creature from the Black lagoon to know who the clear winner is. It should be the other way around. Hopefully HT's fixed the issue and Thor won't have any leaking. He's the "tale of the tape" ATM.

No word yet (I passed to wait and see). But I'm not surprised. For the first six months of the DX02 release people were calling us crazy for worrying about it and them WHAM! everybody's started leaking. The poll still inaccurately shows a majority weren't and that was posted pre-DCD run. Comedian's just now showing signs of it and he's been out for over a year.

Nam you really think Thor will leak? The armor is more like the Predator's armor then the Bat/Comedian suit.

I really hope we see something soon from this line.

I dunno. He has all the components to do so with the rubber shirt and molded vest. Comedian harness was just like the Predator armor and that's all but disintegrating for some.

I didn't think that Thor's shirt was the same material. Its more a vinyl type than normal rubber used on the figures that leak.

I still dunno. The Comedian's harness is made from a similar stuff and it's disintegrating. Only time will tell.
