Re: Hot Toys Green Lantern - Offical License Announcment

TO be quite honest i'd sacrifice poseability for realism/accuracy any day. I hardly change the pose on my figures once i'm happy with the way they're posed - that's just me though

Then you'd be happier collecting Koto's. :wave

Any stress you put on that rubber suit will eventually cause it to crack.

Re: Hot Toys Green Lantern - Offical License Announcment

What are Koto's?

I'll be happy collecting whatever looks closest to screen accurate in 1/6 scale and is poseable (even if its limited poseability).

yeah but first you got to find the right pose that you want! that's the unique feature about poseability that makes 2 dolls different from each other don't u think? imo

Re: Hot Toys Green Lantern - Offical License Announcment

Yes I agree - I mean I'm not saying it should be severely handicapped in posing. But I'm saying that for example I could do without the torso being poseable, and have it look clean and in one piece, as opposed to having a poseable torso with an ugly seam/joint running across the middle of the suit. You see?

Given the colors of GL, I don't think that'd be as glaring as one might thing. The darker scheme actually lends itself well to hiding any joints.

Re: Hot Toys Green Lantern - Offical License Announcment

Possibly - or just have it poseable underneath but cover it up with PVC as has been suggested

Clearly the torso and legs will be the most challenging areas in terms of hiding the joints

Re: Hot Toys Green Lantern - Offical License Announcment

Is there anything they can use besides rubber bodies

So long as they mold the pegs, pins, etc, in the colors needed, they should easily blend. Especially with all the details in the suit.

Re-read the last few pages. :monkey1

Dear sir, I think your attempting to be a smart ass. The products above are not officially licensed Green Lantern accessories. duh.

Green is also the color of one Mr. Kermit the Frog which may use such equipment. Perhaps your thinking the wrong film. :pfft:

Haven't been reading GL that long huh? :lol

Nope. I never followed DC comics beyond the occasional Bats and Supes comic.

The Mike suggested a few GN to bring folks up to speed on the GL character. Actually turned out to be an interesting set of characters but I don't recall reading a lantern using a blender or flashlight. I suppose anything is possible. :dunno

Silver Age into the eighties, he was notorious for making giant blenders, flash lights, scissors, etc. One of the reasons Miller poked fun at him in All Star Batman. :wink1:
