Before watching that Sideshow video I had never visited this thread.

After watching it I just wished to confirm that what I was seeing as a non polystone head sculpt was true or not.

So it is pretty easy to see, and I hope they use the method for other statues. Especially the movie pieces, as the Loki would've definitely benefited from this material.

I love it! I'm glad I have this on order.

I like what they did to the base. They seem to have added darker green shading to the energy construct ...giving it a color gradient reminiscent of lit object.

Although I liked the original base, the statue itself looks pretty good in the pictures. I was actually concerned after seeing that video but I'm feeling confident about it again and know that the extra shading on the base will likely look better in person. The one thing that I really DO NOT like is that ridiculous overspray on the ring hand. I'm excited to see the new translucent resin that they used on the head sculpt. ☺
