Super Freak
And she has a lazy eye.
I meant that Keri Russell has a lazy eye. Not Blake Lively.

Someone over at AICN is claiming that they're close to the production and that sometime this week, Chris Cooper will be announced as Sinestro.
I'm not sold on it either but its nice to get some actual movement on this film. Principal filming is supposed to begin soon and we have no other confirmed cast members than Reynolds. What is strange is that DC/WB have both been saying how important this film is to keeping up with the Marvel machine and yet we have very little hype.
There is still a year and a half before it's released. Right now we're seeing a lot about Iron Man 2 but it's only 6 months away.
Iron Man 2 still doesn’t have a shooting script and a start date has not yet been determined.
Yeah, I'm not liking that choice for Sinestro either. I could see him as Ganthet though.
Well, after Ledger's Joker performance I will never question/bash an actor/actress choice until I see him or her perform the role!
Wow! Been a long time since I posted! But today is a day worth posting about!
Green Lantern got the official green light today! And not a second too soon - only 10 weeks out from shooting!
While it's great news we are a go - now we have to actually get our prep done in 10 weeks!
DOH!
But we have an amazing crew - so we will make it happen!
Blake Lively has nabbed the female lead opposite Ryan Reynolds in Warner Bros.' "Green Lantern."
Lively will play Carol Ferris, who runs her father's aerospace company and hires cocky test pilot Hal Jordan (Reynolds), who later becomes the intergalactic policeman Green Lantern. In the comics, the romance became complicated when an alien race bestowed her the power of a crystal called the Star Sapphire.
The search for the Martin Campbell-directed film's leading lady was almost as intense as the one for its title star. Keri Russell and Jennifer Garner were reportedly among those in the mix for the role.
The role called for a slightly older actress but Lively, who stars in the CW's "Gossip Girl," impressed the studio and filmmakers with her audition. Warners was also impressed with her work in "The Town," its adaptation of the gritty Chuck Hogan novel directed by Ben Affleck now in post-production.
The casting process will next turn its eye to the roles of Dr. Hector Hammond, one of the key villains, and the alien known as Sinestro.
Donald De Line and Greg Berlanti are producing the big-budget sci-fi movie, which is scheduled to shoot in Louisiana in March with an eye towards a June 17, 2011 release.
The script was written by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Michael Green, with Michael Goldenberg currently rewriting.
Lively is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.

HECTOR HAMMOND CAST?
Peter Sarsgaard is in negotiations to play the villain in "Green Lantern," Warner Bros.' big-budget, Martin Campbell-directed tentpole based on the DC Comics super hero.
Ryan Reynolds is starring as Hal Jordan, the test pilot who finds a downed spacecraft with a dying alien who passes him a powerful ring, introducing Jordan to a interstellar police force known as the Green Lanterns.
Sarsgaard will play Dr. Hector Hammond, the pathologist son of a senator who is seen as a disappointment in his father's eyes. He becomes infused with psychic powers when he discovers a meteor.
The character was created by John Broome and Gil Kane in the early 1960s.
Blake Lively has already cast as Reynolds' love interest, Carol Ferris.
The movie is prepping for a March start in New Orleans. Donald De Line and Greg Berlanti are producing.
Sarsgaard, who starred opposite Carey Mulligan in "An Education," recently wrapped "Knight and Day" with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. The actor, repped by CAA and Authentic Talent and Literary Management, is currently shooting the indie thriller "The Ledge" with Terrence Howard and Evan Rachel Wood.
