I wouldn't say 8.5 for any of those two but I would give them around a 9. I would even give GTA4 a 9. I am just saying it is by no means perfection. What is interesting is I am not alone. Usually on IGN people rate games well above what IGN does. In this case I understand it is impossible to rate a game higher than 10 by their scale. However, the interesting part is their average reader review is about a 9.2. I would agree with that. I just wish they would be consistant with their reviews. Which just goes to show you why you can't go by a review 100% when buying a game.
I enjoy the game so far. the driving is KILLING me, I've accidentally run over SO many people trying to control the f^^^ing car.
well of course opinions will differ. their review is just that THEIR REVIEW. just like Michael Crawford's reviews are his alone and doesnt mean everyone will feel the same.
Had a blast on multiplayer last night. There were a lot of cool games, so that was a good mix to not get bored too easily.
I spent a bit on the single player, but had call it a night after 1. I agree with the 10/10 on it.
yeah me too, I think a 9/10 for the score though. I had to get a few games of COD4 in before I called it a night and had to listen to a 15 year old girl call me a noob for having Juggernaut on....although I was 24 and 3 and she was like 7 and 18, kill to death ratio. sometimes it's not worth wearing the headset with the online games.
I remember when I thought my Atari unit that I got in 1979/1980 was KICK ASS!
You know you are old-school when you remember seeing a Commodore 64 and being wowed by the graphics.
You should have asked her what her first video game system was. When she replied with the PS2 or original XBox ( or maybe even the 360 )then I'd have said "Mine was Pong and then the Atari 2600. YOU are the noob".

When my family first got an Atari 2600 (My dad had to buy it reconditioned cause it was pretty pricey) I remember I HATED it. Only game I really kinda liked was the baseball game. I hated COMBAT, Space invaders, the Atari version of PACMAN, etc etc. I was curious as to why so many people like this thing called videogames...
It wasnt until the NES that I really became a videogame addict. Playing Super Marios Bros for the first time change my whole outlook of videogames. Since then there has been no turning back.
