Based on what I've read of the various Guardians comics that sounds like the sort of thing Rocket would say.

In the Marvel NOW! Guardians run Rocket has a habit of saying "Blam!, murdered you!" every time he shoots a baddie. It'd be funny if he said in the movie even if it was just the once.
