While I don't think this is nearly on par with the cataclysmic impact SW had on our generation I do agree that it's at least one of the better chances today's kids have had to even understand what that was like.

When we got home last night, my son (10) proceeded to start a big play fight with my daughter's huge German Shepherd (seriously, if she stands up she's taller than him). His reasoning was that she was a Kaiju and he's a Jaeger. Made perfect sense to me.

Cool! I am very curious to see Godzilla. I'm hoping it is awesome.

I liked PR. It just didn't resonate with me the way it did with some. That being said I'd buy it on Blu for the monsters and robots alone.

I have seen, spent money at IMAX and have enjoyed ALL the following movies this year in order:

Obilvion
IM3
ST Darkness
Man OF Steel
Pacific Rim

I liked them all, some more than others. But every one of those will be in steelbook blu ray collection!

And P.S Transformers, the acting, actor choices, humor, story, jumbled action scenes and Michael Bay, do SUCK. For the most part. lol
