I really like Charlie Day, I just found his character slightly annoying. The TDKR fella was more annoying though.

I thought I'd hate Charlie Day's character in the film but it turned out I quite liked him as Newton.

Newton was one of my favourite characters in the movie and his scenes with Ron Perlman were funny as well.

They are great prints, I just don't like the eyes at the top. That is a shame.

Guillermo Del Toro Says There Won't Be a PACIFIC RIM Director's Cut; Talks about Alternate Endings | Collider

He said his theatrical cut is his director’s cut, but that there will be deleted scenes with commentary and an extensive making-of documentary, though we may not get any further bonus materials. Check the link to read about the deleted scenes, one of which is actually tied to the sequel, if that ever happens.
