I think the idea is genius, but the overall design seems a bit bland(?)...Though I'm not sure how you would jazz it up.

Otachi looks great, and the text is perfect.

I agree with that. I might just redo the thing. Maybe give him a better pose or something.

Or add a city behind him.

Adding a city is the first thing that came to mind. Maybe show him stomping on buildings/cars/people and somehow give the effect that the destruction is more gentle...Idunno. That might be too much. :lol

It's still making money... still in theaters and hasn't opened in Japan, China and Spain which are huge markets for this film. :dunno

At this point it's gonna have to make over 400 million+ worldwide to even break even. So as of right now, it's a box office dud. It is what it is. Seems like most of the live-action summer movies this year aren't doing too well.

Almost can't believe I'm here for the 3D IMAX, finally. The puppies just wouldn't let me nap, but I got like thirty minutes.

There's five people here, three minutes to show time, including me...

Go Wolverine. :lol

Maybe my theater was emptier than usual tonight because the 3D wasn't working! That sucked, but I still got to see it in IMAX for the first time, and actually enjoyed it more the second time around!

The final battle underwater was a big MEH to me- the battle in the city right before it was far better, as was the opening battle. The underwater stuff was murky and not much interaction with environment to be placeholders for huge size of these battlers(yes they needed buildings and cars to smash!!)

Whilst the underwater fight was integral to the story I would have liked to have seen Slattern in a city environment so we could have seen his true size in scale to his surroundings.

Besides the CGI, it's really great to see how much practical effects went into making this movie.

No they don't. I'm glad this movie lacked destruction ****. After Man of Steel, I never wanted to see another building fall.

But in another up n coming film if Colossus throws a Sentinel thru a skyscraper it I'm sure will be Ok then. LOL
