Lots of destruction doesn't = Destruction ****.

MoS had justification for all the destruction, but that's OT.

Edit: I just love the idea of an entire species of Kaijus, makes you feel like an ant.

You're trying to argue but we've done this before, and you exactly what my stance is. Yes it did. And no it did not. Leave it at that, and move on. :lol

I saw this again this afternoon, and finally in full working 3D IMAX.

Each time I've seen it, it seems better. I actually sat near the front to start off with, but moved up a couple more rows for the second half of the film. What an amazing experience. It really felt like I could see far more detail this time around and the battles were a bit lighter. All the detail was immersive. It was great.

I may not get to see it again, getting busy, and should be doing more important stuff, but damn! I love this movie!

Fell asleep during this movie and i never fall asleep in movies.

bad acting and cheesy action. why didnt they use the sword to begin with? :slap

Well, the film reason is pretty simple. Beckett didn't know about it, only Mako did. And she's new to this Drift thing. So it's not like both characters were aware of this sword.

But hey, if you want to cut out the best scene in the movie to fuel your realism bucket, go ahead.

That does make sense, I can roll with that, and they were not that well prepared because of all the troubles earlier in their training, but aren't they supposed to share memories?

It wasn't about "realism" :lol c'mon what a lousy excuse, it was about common sense, common sense does irk a little when you see that scene.
