well the first Godzilla film is not like that. it is more serious. You have to remember Godzilla has 25 movies, some of them were better than the others.

I'll be seeing that in my nightmares... Well regardless I hope PR does great at the box office. I would love to see a Robotech live action film. But if movies like PR flop, we will never get there. Plus if the sight of a giant robot wielding a cargo ship like a baseball bat doesn't get your blood flowing, you might not have a soul.

I dunno why it's getting new US film since the last one wasn't even close to Godzilla in any shape or form.
But I know why TOHO not making it any more - THEY BLEW IT WITH MILLENIUM!

Maybe coz PR has nothing in common with Godzilla... Not even with Ultraman...
PR is a mech movie with monsters in it, not a disaster movie about monsters.
