After one too many incidents involving burglaries in my neighborhood (my bike got stolen recently, and neighbors on both sides got broken into), I picked up a handgun today. I got a pretty utilitarian looking Smith and Wesson Sigma 9 millimeter. Pretty cool gun, though, from what I can tell. Reckon I'll have to learn to shoot the damn thing soon.
I never seriously thought about buying a gun until I had a kid. Never was that paranoid, and even if someone did try to come into the house or whatever, I figured I could defend myself without one. Now, given the crime issues around, it seemed like the only rational thing to do
Me and my friend got in contact with a company in China that makes custom CNC lathe parts (You supply them with autocad blue prints and they make them).
They made an adapter for a rifle from a Swedish high-end airgun producer called FX Airguns. The adapter makes it possible to use standard AR15 parts on some models from FX.
Here is my FX Thyphoon T12 (PCP), its equipped with a Magpul PRS stock, a Hogue grip, a Harris bipod mounted on a RIS (Picatinny rail) and a Leapers 6-24X56 scope.
Its also fitted with a silencer because i shoot indoors with it.
Nice weapons on display here! That Bushmaster ACR is the diggity-dig man! I went to the range today and put a few hundred rounds thru my new STAG Model 2. I love my AR15. I just gotta dress it up with some do-dads. Those Magpul stocks look awesome!
