Hey bro, OGC has a usp45 re manufactured for only $600. I almost bought that but I bought the HK45 instead. Check them out if they still have it.
coincidentally i just was there an hour ago. they only had a usp45 consigned for a little less than 600. felt really good in my hand but i want to hold a hk45. ogc didnt have that though
Yeah that's the one in the consigned area, he told me it's re-manufactured and certified by HK. If it felt good in your hands you're gonna love the HK45.
Check out Security Equipment if they still have their HK45 and HK45c. It's a few bucks cheaper than OGC and if you decide to pay with a credit card they don't charge extra for it. It's rare to find a HK45 under $1k shipped or locally.
Edit: Just called security equipment because I was curious myself and they have one of each HK45 and HK45c for $998, same price I bought it for a few months back.
So I'm looking into buying my first gun and in all my research the gun that pops up the most is the Beretta 92fs. Thoughts, tips, suggestions?
Indeed there is. The P30 is the best 9mm handgun I've ever fired, by a long shot. I'm spoiled to HKs.

I went and grabbed the Smith and Wesson M&P 9c on my lunch break today. With the price including the military rebate it will end up being cheaper than my Glocks. I'm hoping to get it to the range this weekend, but I"m not optimistic about that as I work Saturday and Sunday might be sleep-in day for me.
