Not even worth the effort, if it's tied to the license holder, they can't give any official statement because it'd burn bridges.

Revolution!!!!!

Nevermind, too hard. :lol

There must be some way Sideshow can diplomatically say who's court the ball is in. Once we have a name, we can begin pestering until we get what we need. A Myers PF is worth the effort, imo. :peace

If I thought we could make it happen, I'd be for it, but we'd get further privately commisioning someone to sculpt a 1/4 scale statue.

Indeed, but for the work and money, it'd also have to be the right sculptor, I'd want to walk away saying it's the best representation of the original Michael Myers ever seen, I'd want it to blow away the mask replicas even, well the hair never could, but the face, especially because the sculpt could match Tony Moran's fill where the replica masks end up defined but the wearer or manequin and it's not exactly the same.

With the recent crackdown on masks, methinks it would have to be very private.

That crackdown on masks was very short-lived, probably due to the poor showing for H2 in the theaters. Check out eBay today, there are probably a dozen indie masks back up for auction. Maybe if Malek Akkad had used his resources to lobby for a better director, rather than using them to squash the indie Myers scene, we might have a better film in the theater.

I have a question for you gents... What is your favorite scene from any of the films?

For me it's a toss up: The first being Michael sitting up behind Laurie in the original movie, but this seems like an obvious choice. My second is from Part 6 (not the best movie, but had great scene) when Tommy sees Michael again for the first time after 15+ years... His meltdown is classic..

There are a number I like.

H1 - Loomis explaining to Brackett about Michael being pure evil.
H1 - Michael's reveal after Tommy says "You can't kill the Boogeyman."
H1 - The closet attack.
H2 - Michael's walk heading for Haddonfield Memorial
H20 - Laurie fighting back
RZ's H1 - Loomis' early sessions with Michael

When he just walks through the glass door in 2. I think Loomis or someone locks the door, and he doesn't even bother trying the handle. He doesn't run or get a start, seriously try to just walk through a glass door. Its not easy.

That's one thing I love about Michael, nothing stops him, doors, closets, he just busts through with unstoppable force.

Yea, when hes just busting the door to the closet apart and Lauries crying with no where to go. The sort of strength a 21 yr old kid that doesn't work out should not have is very creepy.

I think my favorite scene in the entire series is in HALLOWEEN when Laurie is trying to get into the Doyle house and the cut scenes show Michael walking around the house, toward the street, across the street, up the lawn toward Laurie. There is an INCREDIBLE amount of tension in that scene.

I agree Blake, it's hard for me to pick favorite scenes, what it really ammounts to is more shots than anything, they're not a whole scene but they're incredible moments.

I love shots with Michael that really portray him as a prowling hunter, like when he spots Tommy at the school and you just follow them walking along, it's so cool, or the shot you mention of him following her from the Wallace's to the Doyle's, or the part in H2 I mentioned with him walking through downtown on his way to the hospital.

I have a few scenes that are very memorable or my favorites, not scariest but still good ones:

H1 - Myers raising in a sit position right behind of Laurie
H1 - Myers mask appears out from a blackened doorway behind Laurie
H1 - Myers appears at the top of the stairs and both kids scream (He looked most demented and evil there)
H2 - Myers walking through a hospital glass door
H2 - Myers crashing through the door where Loomis and Laurie are hiding
H6 - Myers casually walks by Tommy and Kara like a zombie in the basement of the hospital
H20 - Myers attacking John and Molly through the metal gated and locked doors
H20 - Myers stealing the ladies purse in the rest stop washroom. The shot through the crack of the door is great
H20 - Myers gets cracked on the back of the head with a fire extinguisher and slowly sits up in the background
RZH - Myers approaches Laurie in the kitchen while she's on the phone with the police. The angle of his mask is great

I think the Halloween films are more classic for moments than full scenes. All my favorite things are more moments, I think Loomis' explanation in H1 is the only full scene I could say I really love.

Yes!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it was Yablans that commented on how they did that scene. He said that they had a small lamp or flashlight that slowly brightened on his mask. So he was always standing in the same spot but needed the light to bring his mask to the surface. Very creative for 1978 imo.
