I’ll chalk that up to the trailer not showing how that reporter must’ve either payed someone off or hid the mask to get it in there.

But why would they even be allowed in an open courtyard like that is even more silly.

Here's the thing, at quick glance it seems like they're giving him back his mask, but based on the later scene at the gas station, it seems like he broke out and went after them to get it, so the courtyard thing seems more like a test, like he's been so catatonic for so long they wonder if the mask might get a rise out of him, so that's why it's ok to bring it in. Seems to me like case of trailer editing making you think the scene is something other than what it will really be.













































I appreciate the attention to small details from H1, Laurie's arm scar, the hole in the mask from her needle, Michael's messed up eye.





Also, the Halloween 3 masks making a cameo.

When crows pulls his pants down and she's shocked at what she sees.

At first I thought Myers was bashing his head on the bathroom door to get to the woman but it's clear now it's the British guy getting his head bashed in in another scene. The broken teeth are likely his.

I also love the mask in this version as well - very H1 but updated enough to make it look like not just a cheap copy of the original.

You and me both buddy. I would kill for the newer and classic ultimate version from NECA but it's probably never going to happen. They either can't make a deal with the license holder or the rights are too expensive for what they're willing to pay out.

It makes me laugh though - we can get Freddy, Jason, Leatherface, Pennywise, clothed figures from The Fog and Re-Animator but not the most iconic slasher villain.

Are there any sources to confirm that the license holder made the rights for a '78 Myers too expensive? I've been wanting an official 1:6 figure for a long time now, and it is strange that Sideshow, Hot Toys, ThreeZero and Blitzway haven't jumped at this. Is it because the original mask was of Shatner?

She seems to be in good shape for a 60 year old. I respect that she's aging gracefully instead of getting work done and dying her hair. She's playing a grandmother, and I dunno about you, but when I think "grandma" I'm not evaluating "hotness". Different strokes, I guess.
