This trailer just validates why “slashers” are NOT scary and have been irrelevant since 1985.

This looks like H20 2 :lol

Unscary Myers....again.

Ghost/Demon/Satanic Cult movies have nothing to worry about because there is no serious competition from Myers, Jason, Freddy and Leatherface.

Even the bathroom scene is a straight copy from the Zombie Halloween.

Lets see, Carpenter is involved so hopefully i’m proven wrong.

Weak bait. Poor
3/10

Save that for Clown i’m being honest lol

But I will go see opening night hoping to be proven wrong.

I thought this was going to be like what McFarlane was doing with Spawn which was not showing him off too much.

Every youtube video on this says “Michael Myers is back!”

What happened to “The Shape” in the shadows route they were supposedly going with this.

Myers might as well be well lit on a beach lol

I don't think Jye likes any horror and has a vendetta against them since Cannibal Campout. :lol

People are saying Hereditary shook them up so bad it ruined them for life.

No doubt Halloween will do numbers but will it top IT's 700 million? Doubtful.

Call me crazy, but I feel like having Castle back as Myers makes the movements feel like the original film. I get how hard is it to walk around like that, but give credit where due, that's like saying anyone could have done the same quality work in the Godzilla suit actor Haruo Nakajima. Reality is, these people do things differently from one another and small differences can still add up to an overall big difference.

I'm ready bring it on. Looks awesome.

I used my Shatner mask in CC lol

If that was even him lol

But yeah I felt the same vibe BUT that alone will mean squat if the movie is lame.

It made numbers the same way Jurassic Worl made numbers , and the same way Halloween will. It's the icon, and familiarity. Even though kids may not have seen the original they all KNOW it. And I'm sure have been told numerous times how the original is "the scariest movie ever". And everyone my age has the memory of covering our eyes during Halloween time television ever Time a damn Halloween marathon ad would come on 🤣

Michael will be michael. Thats not changing.
What has me hyped is curtis being a terminator 2 bad ***.

I didn’t get into Halloween for scares, for me it was the intrigue of Michael, the look of the Shatner mask and Loomis’s character. Instead of just some unstoppable killer stalking teens, you had this lone guy who knew to be afraid trying to hunt him and stop him and Pleasance really brought a lot to the role. If he weren’t in 4-6, I feel like they would have done worse, he carried them.

As much as this may feel like H20 in trailers, I have faith in the final product, H20 wasn’t bad, it just suffered from having production staff from the Scream series and being too much like the scary movies of the late 90s/early 2000s. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t special.

Read some crazy spoiler from reddit

The twist is Laurie’s granddaughter is a killer like Michael and Michael only kills about 2/3 people while escaping. The other kills were from her and she escapes into the night as the “new killer” e

I am a huge Carpenter fan, and of course Halloween is on of those special films we waited to come on TV each year when I was a kid....

This has some elements...but I doubt it will be anything beyond a copy of the original with a female power lead....

I mean how could this possible end....she kills Michael and then becomes him? Or he kills her....

Same old rehash, but I am along for the ride...what else ya gonna watch?

Jye for once in a while makes a point.

Slashers are a thing of the past, they're thrillers at most, gore and suspense, but not horror anymore.

Cosmic horror is the only horror genre that has yet untapped potential.

Having said that, as a violence/suspense/thriller movie, this doesn't look bad I look forward to it.

And damn, Jamie Lee Curtis looks like THAT? She STILL got it.
