I noticed some stuff were missing inside but I'm ok with it, this will be displayed with the mask on 90% of the time. Still, passion for ones craft and what not..

I finally got my Vader from sideshow but it didn’t come with a brown shipper. Just shipped in a larger box with padding. Can anyone confirm that sideshow orders come with a shipper?

My commander Cody came like that years ago and I returned it. Definitely was opened. Didn’t have the plastic wraps on the limbs. The sent me a new one in the shipper. I’d call if you are suspicious.

Thanks guys. I’ll contact them and see what they say. I think where I ran into a problem is that I paid off my figure later than everyone got theirs shipped so that’s all they had left was a returned figure. Not cool sideshow. Not cool.

Could’ve just been a torn or otherwise damaged shipper box at Sideshow as well and everything else was fine, but they just replaced the shipping box then..

When you really start looking, there is so much that can be improved... but one can say that about every figure.

Of the 6 Vaders HT has given us -- ANH, Tarkin/Vader 2.0, RO, ESB, OWK, ROTJ (not counting 40th ESB as its identical) -- this one is right up there.

I will be curious to see their Artisan Vader...

My final 3x Vaders... for now... I have no idea how to pose ROTJ with helmet off...

The ROTJ is the final in my collection I can't see them doing a better version for some time now. To me I see an old mans body in an Esb Vader suit with a better helmet but the body has changed as the dark side has taken hold of Vader and not in a good way as he now looks drained, a figure of himself as you can see in the previous versions and rightly so. The only thing I would add is a slight bit of weathering in the mouth piece area, gonna have to research what emissions does to electronics after electrical discharge happens.

I finally got my replacement helmet dome from Monkey Depot. I bought the figure from Hong Kong but the dome arrived damaged (the face mask was fine) and there was nothing the seller could do. He has offered a $25 refund.

I bought a replacement full helmet after Monkey Depot broke this figure down about two weeks ago.

Cost me $99 plus shipping and customs so closer to $150 to replace the helmet.

Irish Customs stopped my item for nearly two weeks because the name "Monkey Depot" was suspicious to them. 🤣

I had to provide the actual invoice and I had to ring them with an explanation as to what was in the package.

At least I have it now and the replacement dome is perfect.

I'll now try to sell the face mask as a lot of these arrived with broken tusks.

I bought a few sets and one arrived so far for ESB Vader.

Ankles seem a bit weak, I'm concerned about potentially toppling over

The suit is a bit thicker, so getting the original belt back on was a bit tight

Not sure how to swap out the belt or codpiece straps, as they didn't come with velcro or the adornments (I suppose I could glue some on myself...)

I've seen comments on how the cape chain and boot shape are inaccurate

Otherwise, I quite like it and the longevity is a blessing. My ESB vader has the ROTJ helmet.

@Karst Those pictures from after you swapped the suit, right? Yes, the chain is incorrect as well as the boots, but thats a minor detail for me. I am more concerned for the longevity of the suit and ofc, that I can pose it w/o stressing much that it will peel off or rip after some time
