not 1, not 2. but 3 generations of females who were simultaneously beating up on Man Myers in frame...all at once lol it’s like ok I get the point already men are evil. Literally every male in this movie was evil, a cheater or a bumbling idiot end rant lol. This made TLJ look pro male lol

I saw it tonight and thought it was really bad. Disappointing for sure on so many levels. Cast is awful. Story bad and no atmosphere. Not scary at all. Would easily put it towards the bottom of the Halloween movies. It’s that bad.

I loved 1 and 2, some of my favorites of all time. Even enjoy part 4 but this one was not good.
Goosebumps 2 was a much better movie and dare I say scarier? Wow, what a let down.

Trash.
How in the hell did Carpenter think this was good? 1 and 2 are true classics, wish John and Debra wrote this one.

Zero atmosphere.

This movie felt like it took place on Labor day

The “kid” scene and “flood light” scene were 2 decent scenes in an overall boring, bland and tension free movie.

See for me the big secret in this movie would’ve been that the person named Michael Myers died and the apparation in the mask doing the killings is an unknown entity “the shape” yes the boogeyman is real.


He would’ve been left as an unresolved mystery.

That’s a cool idea. As a character it really is unbelievable at a base level how specifically crazy this guy is. I mean, would he really go retrieve his mask?

Hell paranoia sets in and the public thinks the government is behind it but they’re not they’re even trying to figure out what’s going on.

Nothing beats seeing a horror movie with non whites because they fully get engaged with the movie they yell and scream at the characters I love it.

NONE of that happened lastnight they were quiet as hell that’s how bland this movie was!

They barely laughed with the cute little black kid in the movie.

At least they stayed awake all the white folks were sleeping lol

For anyone who has been following JLC rather lengthy press junket tour you will see she has some major issues with men with power who abuse it.

Translated very well to the climax of the movie.

It was just a weird moment in how it was delivered.

I actually enjoyed the ending.

The only thing I didn’t care for at the time was a character’s sudden heel turn but in retrospect it makes sense.

Enjoyed the long tracking shots....i actually really loved the moment when MM emerges from the house and just looks down on all the trick or treaters. I thought it achieved the atmosphere.

The wisecracking little kid was very movie-cliche but also funny.

I really hate movies that pull that stuff, especially for shocks. I can accept it if it is integral to the story, like Witch or Hereditary, but otherwise it's gratuitous and loathsome. At least to me.

I think in this case it needed to be done and was actually way overdue.

For a few reasons.

They needed to show that evil has no boundaries.

They needed to show that even in desensitized 2018 a single serial killer can still shock without even using an assault rifle or handgun just with his bare hands.

They needed a scene where the audience won’t think they would show.

So for me it worked and as a father very hard to watch.

There's no single way to turn me against a movie faster. The Witch almost lost me, but it won me back.

If you are talking about Halloween III, yeah that really didn’t make sense putting that in the franchise. Had nothing to do with Myers nor did they even mention him

They should’ve just named it “ A Halloween Story “
