Halloween (October 19th, 2018)

Stuckman is a horror movie fanatic and JJ is not so that’s not good.

That being said Stuckman loves Trick r Treat and I think that movie is crap lol

My gut still tells me this Halloween movie is going to suck

First you trash the almighty Pumpkinhead, now Trick 'r Treat.

How can one man be so wrong?

I fell into the TrT hype train thinking it would join H78 as the definitive Halloween season movie but NOPE!

Not even close.

Shame too Ana Paquin is a babe.

I knew there was a reason why WB shelved the movie for years then it went straight to dvd lol

Oh and I hate Monster Squad too.

Trick 'r Treat is far from a perfect movie (the director/writers seem to have trouble making likable human characters), but it's still better than most of the horror churned out these days. As an anthology film it's quite clever.

That’s actually funny because Adrienne King from F13th 1 is a nobody actress while JLC comes from Hollywood royalty and remains Hollywood royalty who just happens to be in a horror masterpiece just like her mother was.

It’s nuts that the correct color timing of H78 still doesn’t exist on HD bluray or even the brand new 4K bluray (btw I can’t believe the 4K didn’t even come with a digital copy sheesh).

But back to color timing I believe only the THX Limited/Collector Edition from 1999 has it and that’s only standard definition 480p!!!

The laserdisc also has it but whatever lol

This movie makes Carpenters H2 look as masterful as H78!

The entire audience was saying how crappy it was immediately after it ended.

This movie didn’t make a lick of sense.

Just because you say the word “The Shape” does it mean you understand what that means.

Gosh I want to say there were 1 maybe 2 cool scenes out of this entire boring ass movie.

I feel sorry for any hardcore hardline conservative that goes to see this they are going to have an aneurysm at the climax i’ll leave it at that lol

I haven’t been this disappointed since TDKR.....ok maybe Force Awakens as well.

I will not be owning this movie.

Laurie Strode should’ve not returned.

Could care less about her family.

It’s the first Halloween movie where Myers kills an actual child ON CAMERA! Not even Jason or Freddy ever killed a child on screen! They wanted to establish his lethality from the very start since it was the first on screen kill in the movie! That was intense to say the least

Hereditary is a mastepiece compared to this shallow character study turd blowing in the Halloween wind.

Maulfan and I could make a better Halloween movie than this.

I saw it tonight and thought it was really bad. Disappointing for sure on so many levels. Cast is awful. Story bad and no atmosphere. Not scary at all. Would easily put it towards the bottom of the Halloween movies. It’s that bad.

I loved 1 and 2, some of my favorites of all time. Even enjoy part 4 but this one was not good.
Goosebumps 2 was a much better movie and dare I say scarier? Wow, what a let down.

How in the hell did Carpenter think this was good? 1 and 2 are true classics, wish John and Debra wrote this one.
