Halo 3 Team Tournament

I gotta back my brother up here. I NEVER and I mean NEVER miss a Dolphins game and they really really suck. Been that way for 25 years. I have every single one of their victories in that time period on either VHS or DVD. It really irks my wife and family when there are functions going on but I don't care. I do enough for everyone that giving me 3 hours a week for 16 weeks or so shouldn't be asking too much.

I used to be that way about sports in general. Then I got tired of giving my total devotion to players and ownership groups who care more about making money then they do about winning. I am still a HUGE hockey and Caps fan, but not as passionate as i once was and I have become more or less a casual fan of most other sports. Still a "fan", but not going to live and die over what a bunch of spoiled, rich cry babies do.

That's cool man. I am not judging anyone. Just saying how I feel about it. I love/loved sports and was devoted to my teams, but the nature of the "business" today just turns me off. Not enough to stop watching, but enough that I don't freak about missing a game or if my team loses now. I still get worked up over caps hockey, but that's about all that can get me seeing red these days.

Yeah it's funny, I couldn't care less about the individual players and I don't live in Miami so I guess I'm really cheering for a logo or a color. It's actually like an addiction for me. I've followed them for so long and they piss me off but I just can't stop watching. It's harder than when I quit smoking.

But I digress... so how about that Halo Tournament?

Don't you dare. You need to keep them. We are all adults here. I think the only thing wrong with this is the day we play. I must admit that I would never even had thought of this. I give Karma mad props for trying. I think that we should all come up with a Halo day that everyone agrees with. If it is Sunday though have a great night or day you won't see me.
