You need to play the multiplayer stuff then to get your time and moneys worth out of it. Maybe just need practice with controller. I doubt all these players have special mouse and keyboards for the 360. Do they even make one?

I thought the campaign was a a decent length. Much better than MW2 which was really poor. I played it on heroic and the diffculty curve took some getting used to but I never found it infuriatingly hard.
However deathmatch hasn't changed much since Halo 3 and I don't see myself playing that for much longer than a week or so. Firefight however is a brillaint mode. I never played ODST but I'm sure they are quite similar. I thought it was going to be like Horde mode on GOW but it's very different but equally as fun.

The Hologram Armor Ability is awesome!
Last night we were in a sniper match in Spire and I sent my hologram running across an open space and I see Karma sneaking up on it, thinking he's going to get the assasination.
Now if only I could only shoot straight with the sniper rifle, I could've capitalized on the opportunity.

Just completed the campaign on Heroic. Here's my impression right now:
Excellent. Spartans rule!! However, did they really need to kill the entire team off?? I haven't read any of the novels, but they could've left Noble 6 or a couple of the others alive for continued battles. Also, since I haven't read the novels I don't think they explained the significance of Reach in the game. A good story should be complete, without requiring the player to have prior knowledge to keep up with the story. I'm not asking for a detailed explanation, but perhaps just a slight mention or statement that clues the player in.
Also, if not a Halo fanatic, they wouldn't know who Dr. Halsey is or even why she was called Mom by Jorge. It was even strange having someone that's considered a civilian giving the Spartans orders without giving any explanation why she's so important.
IMO the storytelling isn't bad, it's just not entirely complete. I'm sure they're banking on all the players to have played the other games and read the books, but this isn't the case with everyone.
