Man some of the maps in this game are huge ..that basic forge one is soooo big ..me and a friend were playing in it last night, i was just using the energy sword and evade, while he was using everything else to try and take me out...we had player speed at 150% and gravity at 50% ..some epic spartan vs tanks battles followed:D

This brings up another issue I have with this game. They should've put in some basic squad controls like in Rainbow Six. It's a pain in the butt fighting a Hunter when your teammates are standing around doing nothing when I could be giving the instructions to attack or move forward to distract the enemies.

I cannot agree with you more. I've had teams of troops stand around on there starting points waiting for you to kill the hunter so the cutscene can start and all they will be in position perfectly instead of them coming out around 10 feet out and helping me.

Not gonna happen in a core Halo game and personally I'd rather play other games if I want squad mechanics.

use the hologram & sneek up from behind :lecture

sucks, was 5 assists til i had finished all the daily challenges. then it went and changed over.

Yeah I'm glad I got the achievement for finishing all the daily challenges out of the way. There was one for killing 100 grunts, 100 headshots, 5 assists, kill 10 elites in one Firefight set....wasn't too bad.

~~I'm about halfway through the game on Legendary. The first 4 missions were fairly moderate, but the 5th is kicking me in the teeth right now.

That's a shame because they missed the boat on something that should be fairly simple to implement. It just seems half-assed the way they did it. Why give us the ability to recruit fireteam members if we can't have basic controls for them?? Even rudimentary stuff like aggressive, defensive, or counter-attack only commands would be beneficial. It's just pointless to have them aimlessly follow you around the levels.

How do you use it?? It always just stands still when I tried it so I just swapped it back for the Sprint.

You aim where you want it to go and it will run to that location and stop. If you aim right at your feet it won't go anywhere. It's best to send it through doors and down hallways before you enter.

It's my favorite AA right now.
