Stuff like this really needs an enormous budget with a decent director if they're even going to attempt adapting it to live action.

I've been Halo'd out since ODST. While I jumped into the new game, which was a good sandbox, I just don't care for anymore Halo.

I've not personally played any of the Halo games, but, however, I have read upon its lore/story and watched cutscenes and I've come to like the Halo universe. I've even bought some of the Spartan figures, which are pretty good.

I watched that trailer, but for me, this new series doesn't quite capture the feel or essence of Halo.

Halo Legends (short animated Halo stories) I felt did a decent job of capturing the feel of Halo:





I'd be down for a full-on animated series of Halo!



It'd be more intriguing if they would match the aesthetic/tone of some of the cinematic trailers, such as this one:
