Ugh, collecting is an addiction, that's for sure. I try not to think about the fact I could get a new set of furniture with the amount I have on pre-order and am planning to order. And SDCC isn't even here yet!

Unfortunately, collecting is the equivalent of smoking crack. Only you actually have something to show for it at the end of the day other than a malnourished frame and missing teeth. :lol

I don't know what the street cost of crack is but the way things are going with the prices of these "toys" its probably cheaper to get crack. :)

at least with this addiction, many of the "dragons" that we chase are caught... and displayed... and enjoyed continuously.

I don't think people were hoping for swappable helmets in order to Army-build. It's simply a matter of having that one other option to display Han & Luke (especially Luke) in ST armour with their helmets on. You could do the scene with them escorting Chewie, etc.

But as has been pointed out, getting extras off of Toy Anxiety or wherever and have the same result.

Yeah, I don't see how people would be using them as stand-in stormtroopers either. When all is said and done, I wouldn't even be surprised if their cost was more than the price of picking up two stormtroopers.

Whatever the reason they chose not to include them, I don't see why you couldn't just get a couple extra stormtrooper heads and switch them.

Other than Luke being a short one, I'm failing to see why a full Stormtrooper swapable head is a deal breaker for some. With them one they'd just look like Stormtroopers from SSC with a couple of differences on the belts. One would think you'd want to display them with it off to show who they are and if its just a "well it could have been included in case" I don't see that being SSC's problem for some collectors who still want more....The Detailed Helms are awesome and much better IMHO to include to have the helmet to complete the look but not have a need to have them on or just have standard helmets which would look dull displayed at their feet.....just my two pennies.

I think I'd actually rather have the accessory/prop helmets with the detailed interiors than have swappable ones. Seems a lot more thought went into the accessory helmets, swappable ones would've been easy.

Well since I only own one ST it would be kind of cool to display these guys with their helmets on to flank Vader if I want to switch up my display.

Just a few more days before they go on sale.. How many of you freaks are going to comic con?

So Sideshow should anticipate and compensate for people wanting to be cheap? :p :lol

Well technically, YEAH, they should (and they often do). They are a business looking for customers after all and customers are cheap in general.

It was SSC anticipating and compensating for cheap people like me that made them choose only 1 of the helmets as opposed to charging more by providing both.

In this instance I prefer the helmets we are getting to regular helmets.
