I havent heard anything about the long rifle. Just the standard stormtrooper plaster..

Quite right. I think at this point of time, SideShow haven't develop that yet. We would definitely be seeing the long blaster coming with a future Sandtrooper.

Cost effective for you, cost prohibitive for Sideshow. Again, offering that option would ensure that everyone, save army builders, would be passing on the regular Stormtroopers which are still in stock, to pick these guys up as replacements.

The exact point I was trying to make - it sounded like you were doubting it might cannibalize Stormtrooper sales.

It and a mouse droid are the only other things SS could've jammed into this set. And seeing as he never uses it, it's not a big loss. It's a much more appropriate accessory for Chewbacca or a sandtrooper.

still would like an accessory pack with the 2 ST belts, a mouse droid, binders, etc. I guess the large blaster can be added to that hopeful kit. Some of those communication devices that get blaster would be cool for the kit too as well as some trash compactor bits, the dianoga eye...lots of cool stuff.

They announced the info, and now I can officially pass. The Hasbro ones are good enough for me, even though these likenesses are really good. Here is the info:

The ATTENDEE edition of this figure will be priced at $189.99 USD. The total edition size for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo in Stormtrooper Disguise 12-inch Figure Set will be just 2,000 pieces worldwide.


I'm guessing the non-attendee price will be 199.99. I'm not saying these aren't worth the price, but I just can't afford to buy everything. Seeing as I own the Hasbro versions, I'll have to be satisfied with them, and buy the Sideshow pieces I can afford (especially ones never made by Hasbro)

$90 each would be nice but with the changes and new accessories I figure they'll be $5-10 more than a standard ST. And then $10 on top of that for the NA's.
