If you check that silly thread again, you will notice CBG retracted the $90,000 collection claim. It's more of a $5,000 collection according to him,t'was a small discrepancy of $85,000...

:rotfl:lol:rotfl OMG, funniest thing I've heard all day.

Amazing hookl that has this character which, remember, is an enemy quite "new" in the Batman´s gallery, and not even created for the comic.

Again... the ol' boiling lobster trick. Yeah, it's only $10... what's the problem?

Next year: Oh, it's only $379.99? That's not too bad...

All of a sudden, it's starting to get very warm in here.... Next thing you know, you're on a plate at a lovely restaurant wondering what happened now that PFs are up to $400.00.

if they only increase the standard pf by $10 a year i will be very happy.

anyway this isnt too bad at 359 with an extra head. I will buy it.

I find it funny people are acting crazy over the price even though we all already knew what the price was. In a system like this you vote with your money. If you're going to complain about the price, don't buy the products and keep endorsing them and see if that ends up amounting to anything (it probably won't).

PF was $200?? You mean $250. Over the last year, Pfs prices has increased by 20% or more. I think once PFs prices starts to raise higher & higher, I will limit my buying.

No you used to be able to get PFs for $200

Darth Vader PF was $350 back in 2005. Han, Luke, and Leia were $250 for the regulars.

Looks like the only $200 PF's were Kirk and Spock (and later, Count Orlock). I didn't even know they did Star Trek stuff.

Nosferatu was $200 so was Kirk and Spook and a few others... Vader was huge so he was alot but most were $200 to $225... then the price increases and popularity came and the economy and now we hitting $400 and more soon... but thats the price of this hobby:monkey2

Nosferatu was also only polystone/polyresin in the hands and head, and had a very basic base. It's not like the quality of PFs have been static all these years. Comparing Poison Ivy to say Dracula shows some pretty significant improvements and advancements over the years. Let's not forget that the cost of making these things has increased over the years as well. Then we've got the expensive licenses too. It's not black and white. It really isn't as simple "prices went up lol what a ripoff it was cheaper before."
