I'm thinking I'm gonna hold off on harley for now. I'm not crazy about the sculpt, fabric or alternate head. Like others have said price keeps me out as well. I'm really happy with my dc direct ah harley

It's not about this one particular statue, it's the pricing in general. The general price of PFs has gone up again. The base price for non large characters was $349.99. It now appears to be $359.99.
No, SS hasn't done a Harley before (which is irrelevant anyway), but the pricing on a PF of this general sizing has increased by $10 since a few months ago. If this were 8 months to a year ago she would have been $349.99.
But I agree with Monger, this much money on characters who don't mean much personally is "a lot". "A lot" is relative, and isn't just the face value of the dollar amount. $400 for Batman and $500 for Ganondorf is one thing, because I like them a lot, but for other random DC characters that don't mean as much, $400 is too much. I'm pretty committed to the major characters of Batman, Spidey, X-Men and Avengers, but as the standard PF cost quickly rises to $400, I'll no longer even pay attention to minor or less meaningful characters.
And to that end, I made a list of characters to stick to. No random POs just because it looks good. I'm only getting the characters I enjoy.

Agreed. I would b tempted by a low es but the recent trends with high es and high prices has taken some of the fun out of it

Okay guys, so the gameplan is, only those who are 100% loving the EX shall PO it, and wait for the ES to be set in, say, a week's time from this Thursday. This should give us a low-ish ES (hopefully!), and then when the ES is revealed, the rest who are mildly tempted, knock yourselves out!

Agreed. I've also seen a lot of Joker Reg PFs sell on ebay for under $300 lately which says SS made too many. I'm only buying pieces from now on that I really want: Supes, WW, Myers PF if that happens, then no more SS for me. Too many price increases, high ES, lesser quality. Not as much fun in collecting as before just imho.

I just got into this hobby and was wondering when SS usually sets the ES and how long it usually takes to sell out of the exclusive editions for a "C" class character like HQ?
I’m a big fan of Harley Quinn and I really wanted to like this statue and tried to talk myself into it, but sadly I don’t think I’ll be ordering it tomorrow. My biggest issues with the piece and first impression were that the head, hands, and feet are just too small for such a voluptuous body. As a result the image of cankles Wonder Woman from the bombshell line popped into mind here:
Also with all the QC issues I’ve had with SS lately, I think I’ll save myself a lot of money and purchase a much better executed Harley Quinn IMO also from the Bombshell line here:
