I never read any of the books just watched the movies up until Book 6: HBP. I liked OotP so much in theaters that I wanted to find out what happened so I read that book, due to weird circumstances left and right I never read 7. After seeing HBP in the theaters and liking it I definitely see what HP fans of the books are saying in terms of the films definitely being lite versions of the books and definitely losing a lot of the really cool portions so since I liked DH1, I'm not going to read Hallows until after DH2 because of what happened in reading first and then watching.

I don't care for the poster. Makes me think of the football helmets facing off in superbowl advertisements.

A very cruel April Fools joke.

I grew up with Harry potter and I will probaly shed a tear once this movie is over its been seven damn movie's and it will go down as the one of the most remebered movie's of all time. Harry potter is an icon and geared toward everyone unlike a certain sparkly fairy movie with big dogs.

Yup, looks pretty damn awesome. Gonna be an awesome ending to this series on the big screen.

Looks like they have really beefed up the climactic interaction between Harry and Voldemort. I think this will be an epic conclusion to the film series, and might even improve a bit on the book. ("Harry, while you were downstairs, a few well known characters died off screen.")
