Actually, I've rewatched Ep IV a few days back and to my amazement, the wave 3 trooper is more accurate than I though. I had also never noticed Han's gun had a longer scope in IV. I've seen these films so much, I can't believe I'd missed so many details.

This pose is also somewhat misleading. He's looking somewhat down, which means there's more rounding to his head than if you see him straight horizontally. The Sandtrooper turned out incredibly accurate. I really doubt they'd drop the ball on the normal one.

EDIT: I do have to admit, his lower helmet does seem to be protruding too much.

Just finished our second "Kennerized" commercial for my site https://www.starwarsblackseries.net/ ....

This time around, is a remake of the original large size Boba Fett commercial from the vintage line. We borrowed the original audio on this one and tweaked it quite a bit to make it fit the Black Series version. Enjoy!

More to come!

Great commercial! Very well done. Makes me want to play with my figures again.

Yeah well, take another look at the front on shot of the figure's helmet - it's on the previous page. :lol

Now look at this again, especially the trooper 2nd from the right (or their left):

This doesn't look to bad to me. First of all al the helmets seem to somewhat differ slightly in terms of size. But mostly, some do have a somewhat more protruding "jaw line". Imagine any of those looking down, I can see it bridge the gap in terms of size compared to the promo picture I posted in my previous post. I don't think it'll turn out as bad overall as that one picture might make it seem to.

I think the chest armor should be up higher too. It looks like a wife beater tank top. It's supposed to come all the way up close to the base of the neck and have very little black showing. This has quite a bit showing.

Any fellow Brits know if these are available outside of import stores?

I bought Darth Maul to see what the quality was like and think the figure is great but £23.50 shipped was a bit more than I really wanted to pay.

Thank you sir! :) I think we had more fun with this one than the last one... The Black Series Fett is a TON of fun to play with!

Btw, the Fwoosh had a top 10 poll vote for this line, did anyone else vote and if so, do any of you know when/where will see the results?

I don't know... but you made me want to post mine here!

1. LUKE (TATOOINE)
2. CHEWBACCA (NEW HOPE)
3. C-3PO (ORIGINAL TRILOGY “CLEAN”)
4. BOSSK
5. PRINCESS LEIA (NEW HOPE)
6. LANDO CALRISSIAN (BESPIN)
7. OBI WAN KENOBI (NEW HOPE)
8. DARTH VADER (NEW HOPE)
9. THE EMPEROR (RETURN OF THE JEDI)
10. GRAND MOFF TARKIN

I was tempted to get Biggs in his "X-Wing pilot" outfit in there, but that was purely to compliment the Luke that has already been released in the same type outfit. Now, Bossk actually getting in there to compliment the Fett, on the other hand....

;)

Exactly, tough the the E-11 in the lower part of the pic is not a real Sterling MK4 L2A3 SMG, it is a ROTJ E-11 where they used a MCG Sterling - easy to spot the differences in the pic. :)

The Sterling has a folding stock but it was never seen opened in SW - except partially here:

Wow, never noticed that in that still before!

Thanks!

Awesome review Sallah! When I first saw that it was 18 minutes I groaned but, unlike some other reviewers (that I won't name) that grate on the nerves for much less time, I found myself watching and enjoying the whole review. Very informative and entertaining and I really like how you include your son, who had several great points to add as well!

I must admit, I only watched the review in the first place because I don't have Boba yet (pre-ordered the wave 2 figure though), but after seeing it went back and watched your Luke review as well, even though I already have him.

Anyway, big fan of your 6" Black Series page, the reviews, and the awesome vintage commercials! Also, gotta say, I love your photos! Not only do you post a ton of them, which are all great, but you post shots of great and interesting poses...not just the same old standard poses.

I had quite some trouble thinking of my top 10 and then I decided to go overboard and choose mostly EU characters haha. I don't really care all too much what figures get released when so I thought I'd mainly support the fact that I want EU characters as well, especially (yes here it comes) Revan. But I'd also LOVE a 6" Malak and Malgus. I basically just hope for anything from the Bioware games.

From just the films Vader, Cloaked Luke (ROTJ). Obi-Wan (TPM), Emperor (ROTJ) and Chewbacca are probably my top 5 now. Given that Han is released, I'd have three iconic finished battle scenes. Oddly enough I put Mace Windu in my top 10 on the fwoosh, but I kinda regret that.
