Wow, never noticed that in that still before!

I guess the spring inside the screen used Sterling folding stock is broken or missing. I cannot have my Sterling's folding stock look like that, the spring brings the shoulder support back into position close to the barrel.

My vintage role play Luke/Stormtrooper blaster looks like that. I have to use a rubber band to hold it together.

I had quite some trouble thinking of my top 10 and then I decided to go overboard and choose mostly EU characters haha. I don't really care all too much what figures get released when so I thought I'd mainly support the fact that I want EU characters as well, especially (yes here it comes) Revan. But I'd also LOVE a 6" Malak and Malgus. I basically just hope for anything from the Bioware games.

From just the films Vader, Cloaked Luke (ROTJ). Obi-Wan (TPM), Emperor (ROTJ) and Chewbacca are probably my top 5 now. Given that Han is released, I'd have three iconic finished battle scenes. Oddly enough I put Mace Windu in my top 10 on the fwoosh, but I kinda regret that.

I'm only familiar with a limited amount of EU characters.

On the *surface* Mara Jade, Xizor or Thrawn seem shoo-ins if EU is approached. Right?

But I wouldn't get my hopes up because I believe Disney will be VERY picky at which "non-canon" characters get chosen for any action figure line. Lucas was very supportive of EU and he even utilized that stuff to make himself some good money... but Disney will be releasing notable more movies and TV projects than Lucas did, and I believe if there are EU characters released they will be centered around the "post-Disney-sale event" to avoid potential market confusion.

AS far as what I'd like---the above is my top 10, but I'd be happy with ANY character from the Original Trilogy... anything else... not so much.

Heck, even Hasbro when (under direction by a non-Disney Lucasfilm) never released EU Splinter Of The Mind's Eye figures,,, so, I'm not too keen to find anything additional to Maul, Ep. 3 Kenobi and Ep 3 Anakin added to the 6 inch BS line because it'll likely be stuff I'm not interested in buying.

The current waves feel very random tbh. I wonder how they assembled it.

Btw, does wave 3 have a release date yet? I thought I spotted someone saying that wave might even get released this year, but I never found anything to back that up.

IMHO, they don't seem random.

The wave contents seem like a sharp, strategic plan to stoke interest just enough to get people buying with the promise of even more integral figures down the line, and then back to "not so much integral" character releases in the waves --and round and round it goes.

IMHO, releasing the Sandtrooper before the Stormtrooper was a BRILLIANT profit increasing move, as was releasing X-Wing Luke before Jedi or Tatooine Luke.

I don't see why Wave 3 would be released this year if it took early August to late November in between the release date of the first two waves.

Unless, of course, they are planning different sized intervals between wave releases.

I want to chime in with my top 10 wants:

1. Chewie
2. Vader ANH
3. Ben ANH
4. Luke ANH
5. Leia ANH
6. C-3PO
7. Yoda
8. Han Bespin
9. Luke Jedi
10. Leia Hoth/Bespin escape

These alone with what we know is coming would make my collection complete.

The Emperor would be right up there if I knew Hasbro was willing to do larger items like his throne.

Lando Bespin too!

Awesome review Sallah! When I first saw that it was 18 minutes I groaned but, unlike some other reviewers (that I won't name) that grate on the nerves for much less time, I found myself watching and enjoying the whole review. Very informative and entertaining and I really like how you include your son, who had several great points to add as well!

I must admit, I only watched the review in the first place because I don't have Boba yet (pre-ordered the wave 2 figure though), but after seeing it went back and watched your Luke review as well, even though I already have him.

Anyway, big fan of your 6" Black Series page, the reviews, and the awesome vintage commercials! Also, gotta say, I love your photos! Not only do you post a ton of them, which are all great, but you post shots of great and interesting poses...not just the same old standard poses.

Wow man! Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it! :1-1:

We should have the Sandtrooper up next week, followed quickly by R2. :)

Sallah

Has anyone else had the hook for Luke's lightsaber break off of the belt? I'm not sure if it is a design problem, but the hook broke off pretty easily just trying to get the lightsaber hilt to hang on the belt.

A couple of rare earth magnets took care of the problem.

That looks great! Brilliant idea. The only way that could look cooler is if you drilled into his belt maybe 2mm, and sink the belt magnet down a bit.
But great thinking with the magnet. It looks the business.

Thanks! Yeah, this is just a desk toy at work, so super glue was the extent of work I was going to put into fixing it. :monkey1
