So I finally found the results of the Fwoosh top 10 poll a while back (I took part a few days before it closed).
https://thefwoosh.com/2013/10/official-fwoosh-star-wars-black-series-top-ten-poll-results
top 10-1 (with total votes for each):
24 IG-88
26 Mace Windu
36 Bossk
37 Luke Skywalker [Jedi]
38 Lando Calrissian
41 Obi Wan Kenobi [Ep IV]
43 Yoda
50 C-3PO
58 Chewbacca
68 Darth Vader
Now, apart from this poll mainly affirming the obvious (though Windu is interesting to see in here imo) I'm either really out of touch with the fan base of star wars, or Fwoosh got trolled, because I find the nr 10 and 8 ridiculous. I don't know how that happened, but whatever, I don't get it. Must be me. Aside from that I hope most of the others will be among the next waves in 2014, all 8 except the two I mentioned really.
Trolls? Most certainly not. You're definitely out of touch with the fanbase. Bounty Hunters have been cool since the beginning. I've always been fascinated by them! In fact, one of my first EU experiences was "Tales of the Bounty Hunters." A great read, if not a bit ridiculous at times, but good nonetheless. I am not going to be a completionist, but the bounty hunters are all a must for me. Bossk and IG-88 are the more popular bounty hunters out of the group, although I've always had a fascination for 4-LOM and Zuckuss (mostly due to their expanded universe tale in the aforementioned book).
Also, I think it makes sense to vote for the obscure characters. Why? They're going to make all the main characters. Slowly. Great planning on their part! Otherwise I'd probably just get the heroes/villains and quit. They actually seem to know what they're doing. I'm getting more figures than I'd planned to with these eclectic waves. I think the rest of that list looks pretty solid. And are worth picking up as well. I am really looking forward to a Jedi Luke! I'd prefer Endor/DSII combo but I'll be happy with a Jabba's Palace version as well.
