So I finally found the results of the Fwoosh top 10 poll a while back (I took part a few days before it closed).

https://thefwoosh.com/2013/10/official-fwoosh-star-wars-black-series-top-ten-poll-results

top 10-1 (with total votes for each):
24 IG-88
26 Mace Windu
36 Bossk
37 Luke Skywalker [Jedi]
38 Lando Calrissian
41 Obi Wan Kenobi [Ep IV]
43 Yoda
50 C-3PO
58 Chewbacca
68 Darth Vader

Now, apart from this poll mainly affirming the obvious (though Windu is interesting to see in here imo) I'm either really out of touch with the fan base of star wars, or Fwoosh got trolled, because I find the nr 10 and 8 ridiculous. I don't know how that happened, but whatever, I don't get it. Must be me. Aside from that I hope most of the others will be among the next waves in 2014, all 8 except the two I mentioned really.

Trolls? Most certainly not. You're definitely out of touch with the fanbase. Bounty Hunters have been cool since the beginning. I've always been fascinated by them! In fact, one of my first EU experiences was "Tales of the Bounty Hunters." A great read, if not a bit ridiculous at times, but good nonetheless. I am not going to be a completionist, but the bounty hunters are all a must for me. Bossk and IG-88 are the more popular bounty hunters out of the group, although I've always had a fascination for 4-LOM and Zuckuss (mostly due to their expanded universe tale in the aforementioned book).

Also, I think it makes sense to vote for the obscure characters. Why? They're going to make all the main characters. Slowly. Great planning on their part! Otherwise I'd probably just get the heroes/villains and quit. They actually seem to know what they're doing. I'm getting more figures than I'd planned to with these eclectic waves. I think the rest of that list looks pretty solid. And are worth picking up as well. I am really looking forward to a Jedi Luke! I'd prefer Endor/DSII combo but I'll be happy with a Jabba's Palace version as well.

Okay!:lol I won't object. Maybe I'm too young (24)? dunno, I know Bounty Hunters are popular, I just have trouble understanding why you'd place a character in your top 10 that had like a minute of screentime, but apparently there's EU I'm unaware of.

We did end up with 8 'to be expected' characters though. Well, maybe not Windu, only surprise for me to see him make the top 10. I'm looking forward to see all of these as well.

I see where you're coming from, but SW has always given us those two second characters in toy form. At $20 a pop, I would agree I wouldn't want the Ice Cream Maker Man or Ewok #22. But some of the more iconic characters are something I'd want. Greedo, the ESB Bounty Hunters, and maybe a few Cantina patrons or Jabba's Palace denziens would be nice. Tastes vary. I'd probably want a Ree Yees but not a Klaatu. Tastes vary so it's going to be tricky offering such expensive figures of these characters. The ESB Bounty Hunters and any creatures from the original Kenner 21 are going to sell though.

Also, it makes sense to vote for those things. Hasbro's going to give us those main characters eventually. I think by spreading them out, they'll keep people interested longer. I am hoping the quality is consistent and the scale isn't too big of an issue.

I expected Windu eventually, but not before a Padme, Jango, or some sort of Clone. Interesting to see that's what fans want. I am not collecting the PT stuff so I don't care who they choose from those films. I'm hoping they keep the 3:1, 4:0, and 2:2 ratios we've seen so far. I don't ever want the balance to tip the other way. And even though I'm an EU fan, I don't want EU stuff coming into this line unless it was in the form of exclusives.

Jawa multi-packs please!

Or a Jawa packed with a droid would be cool. A Gonk droid in particular would be nice.

Bounty Hunters are just as popular, if not more so, than many of the main characters. It probably has to do with Boba Fett's immense popularity more than anything else though.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Bypassing my own preferences, I find it reasonable every wave should always include at the very least 1 OT figure. And I admit that 3 OT figures in one wave would be a lot as well. However I gotta say I do hope some EU characters pop up. Just the big ones, giving nods to different EU's out there (in my case I'd hope for just 2-3 Bioware-verse characters somewhere along the road).

I hope this will become a long running line though. Has anybody mentioned the possibility of characters from the new upcoming SW film taking up slots from next year onward?

The OT is a bigger part of your love for SW... makes perfect sense. :)

I hope it continues too. These have been lots of fun... Picked up all four so far plus two extra Sandtroopers that are now modified to Black and White pauldrons. If I could with for anything it would be a basic stand be included with each.

A stand would have been great to include. I am working on some custom stands for these though.

Re: Hasbro legends 6" sw figures

Some of the great EU stories on the bounty hunter.

Nice list and i would agree with most of it. Bossk and IG-88 are the second and third most popular bounty hunters so i'm not surprised. Also i'm sure a lot of people are interested in Chewie, IG88 and Grievous because of their size.

The characters i would really like that we probably won't see for many years are Cad Bane, Shae Vizla and Darth Malgus.

And for a character i would love that we'll never see in 6" it would be Voolvif Monn :(

Here's Ani!!!!
:lol

^ lmao, I have to say though, somewhat disappointed by it, I'm not the biggest fan, but I like ep III enough to not mind having a a good version. Maybe he comes with a cloak like Maul that has a better head sculpt and the really dark look he has when he enters the temple, because this is a massive deal breaker right here.
