Nice to see Hasbro finally besting the vintage Gammy, pretty sad their last effort came up short of that, the paint was nice but the sculpt was too He-Man-esque, this looks to be quite accurrate.

I can't wait to get this.

Yea it kind of does but, what i like even better is the fact he has ball joints at the hips now and that body is the best sculpt for a ROTJ Luke yet, very proportionate.

I think i am going to have to own all these vintage carded figures.

for sure this year, Hasbro is going some nice work on the 3.75 inch line... The ROTJ looks fantastic and we finaly see a great looking admiral ackbar and jedi luke...

Some Vintage Collection info from Hasbro's SW panel (courtesy of Rebelscum.com):

- mailaway Boba Fett in Vintage style....finally getting the rocket-firing feature

- EPISODE VI wave: Gamorrean Guard (will have a skirt!), Luke Skywalker (Death Star II), Admiral Ackbar, Wooof, R2-D2 (sculpted a little smaller than normal with lots of accessories), Wicket W. Warrick (no longer a 2-pack, but he will come with his animated accessories), Wedge Antilles (X-Wing Pilot)

- Target will get exclusive vintage packaging for the TIE Fighter and Snowspeeder

Tusken Raider (opened for sticker)
Han in Endor Gear (opened for sticker)
Boba Fett MOC

I'm wanting all Bounty hunters on the vintage style cards, just need Zuckuss to complete it. Second set of the vintage figs is for opening.

Anyone know what saga legends are usable for the Rocket Firing Boba Fett? I think the Saga figs in the pic are good for the promo, but would hate to send it off and then find out they are no good.

Re: Star Wars Vintage Collection Series

I haven't bought any yet, but I plan to buy the whole OT vintage line.

Re: Star Wars Vintage Collection Series

I haven't seen these in person yet but did think about buying them. Then a friend told me the cardbacks are very flimsy this time around and damage very easy, plus they cost more than last time and came in a protective case then. So I think I am going to pass and focus on 1/6th and PF's. Good luck to everybody getting them :) .

I believe it was reported on Rebelscum that that the Hasbro Panel made mention of there being 37 total figures planned for the Vintage Collection Series. A pretty manageable number, considering.
