:rotfl All the girls I know who watch this are head over heels for Robb and mostly the ones saying that they are done with the show now. They are also all trying to convince themselves last week was just a dream or something and he'll still be alive so I can't wait to see their reaction to that spoiler image.

Head over heels for Robb?

Ew.

I'm tellin ya, she's too good. We're getting the wrong impression about her I think and they will twist it so she's bad eventually.

Arya Stark got some payback tho, that was cool. Watching the hound swing that sword, jesus I would run so ****ing fast the other way. Guys like a Terminator.

^^ She sure did! :yess:
I like Arya and the Hound. I hope they stay together next season.

Daenarys ...meh.
I bet that guy with the long hair ends up with her as her love interest.

The episode felt like more of an epilogue than anything but I loved it nonetheless. We saw new journeys beginning, journeys ending and a new layer to Daenarys story. Good stuff. Lots of great character beats and some nice revelations too.

Really? None? Arya? Tyrion? Bran? Jon? Dany? Sansa? Even with 3 main characters out of the way I always found there was at least ONE good person left for folks to root for in the series.

Though Catlyn technically can come back should the TV series bring that subplot in...so really Eddard and Robb become the biggest blows for the good guy team.

I'm a BIG Brienne fan but given her journey in the books I don't think she'll make it out alive...which just makes me sad. Arya and Tyrion are other favs of mine as well and they just MAY make it to the end...we'll see though.

I like Jon and Dany but I figure they're good as dead soon enough. :lol

The big battle in season 2 was crazy with him chopping fools in half. Literally.. in half. :lol

Yeah I agree with the general consensus (apparently) kinda lackluster finale and TBH overall the entire season was kinda meh. Especially when you factor in the wait until the next one. Oh well.. at least I can still smile about the Red Wedding. :yess:

I liked that the episode was rather calm and modest compared to previous season finales. People are lamenting the lack of some of the flashier elements from the books, but cramming them all now, one episode after the red wedding, would be rushed and crude. I like that the showrunnes tweaked the timeline a bit. This way they can leave more good stuff for the next season. Which means that perhaps the next one won't be rushing the book events so much as the three seasons we got so far.

It's terrifying because watching him do it, it doesn't seem unrealistic. I didn't even question it when he cuts through Beric's sword.

Well, only one of them is left by the END of that book

Isn't that still up in the air? I haven't read that far yet but it's my understanding Jon's fate is unclear.

I don't know what I loved more; Arya taking Hound's dagger without him even knowing it or the way she answered, "yes, the first", like she knows theres more to come. :clap

I think people have gotten to used to comic book villains that can be just as likable as the heroes. The Joker, Bane avatars everywhere(a terrorist), especially Loki, have people rooting for them. No one roots for Walder Frey, cosplays as Joffrey, that's how you know they're good villains. :lol IRL you don't usually root for let alone admire the villain.

Good point. And I agree.
