It's terrifying because watching him do it, it doesn't seem unrealistic. I didn't even question it when he cuts through Beric's sword.

Isn't that still up in the air? I haven't read that far yet but it's my understanding Jon's fate is unclear.

It's very much up in the air.

I don't know what I loved more; Arya taking Hound's dagger without him even knowing it or the way she answered, "yes, the first", like she knows theres more to come. :clap

yes thought it was a great episode, not only that but the Hound saying, "next time you"re going to do something like that let me know" pure classic man, classic. hope they become that eras Bonnie and Clyde.....:lol

I felt Jon (and Brienne's) fate was unclear as well. Wont know for sure for some time though

This episode was an epilogue of sorts, the needed to tie up some loose ends and lay the groundwork for he next Season. March is a long time off, will be a tough wait.

Some stuff was rushed though, Jamie was not at King's Landing in time for Joffrey's Wedding

The build-up for Stannis for next season has got me excited, should be very cool.

and for Ygritte...

Guess she gets to come back briefly for next season, which I didnt expect.

Enough Spoilers for you?

I liked the season overall. I am very concerned about the fait of the show. I just don't see how they are going to be able to tell a complete story. They are moving much faster than GRRM can write. :gah:

I think they will be able to add some material such as
they can follow Stannis to the wall, add to the iron island story, possibly add Cold Hands to Brans story since they left it out of SAMs

I am not too sure how they are going to keep a couple story lines interesting since not a lot happens with them through book 5

Brans story is almost complete. They will need to add something to him. Danys story will also stahl over the next several seasons. Her plot line is repetitive and I think the audience is already loosing some interest.

I am a huge fan of the books and show though. My hope is that book 6 comes out soon and could possibly serve as 2 seasons to buy more time. I don't know though because books 4 and 5 could probably be combined into one season.

Next season will be a lot of fun though!!!
Jeoffery, Tywin, Tyrions trial, battle at castle black, Zombie Cat!

Didn't martian provide a ending to the shows writers if anything were to happen to him.

Yes, he's told them in general terms how the story is supposed to conclude, but that doesn't mean he wants them filming it while he's still kicking and working on the books. The reveal to the showrunners was more a safety valve should anything sudden and unfortunate happen to GRRM.

It was an underwhelming finale but still a good episode. Arya and the Hound steal the show as usual.

When Arya muttered "Valar Morghulis" (all men must die) I know she's going to be a bad *** in S4, and maybe she'll be on her way to find Jagen Hgar to help her avenge her familie's deaths, now that she's alone with no one but the Hound...???

I think I am going to start reading the books during the hiatus. :lecture

All I will say is...read the books. :)

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if she dies horribly too. Afterall the audience expects a child not to die and for at least one of the Stark children to avenge the family - NO, NO. Kill her. Death to all who are good and noble, wipe them out :lol

I was expecting a lot more, especially given the comments made by a couple of the actors leading up to the finale. However all in all a good episode where not much happened but a lot actually did. I really liked the continuation of character development. Robb losing his head; Joffrey celebrating and wanting to serve Sansa a sadistic surprise (is there no character lower), Tywin running things (Charles Dance deserves an Emmy this year), Jon & Ygritte's lover's spat, assassin in training Arya, concluding with the Mother of Dragons body surfing.

Looking forward to next season.

I thought it was a great episode. Don't know what the problem was. The real finale is always episode 9.

Anyway, the wolf head was attached differently from that spoiler posted earlier. What's that about? So ****ed up to see. Either way I think the attachment was more realistic in the show than the book anyway. In the book it was said it was sewn on.

I like the gloating scene with Frey and Bolton. That wasn't in the book, nice addition.

I think as a whole next season will be more entertaining for those complaining about this season. Nothing as shocking as the Red Wedding though. I don't think anything compares to that from here on out. So far at least.
