I know! Luckily there's some other shows coming up to make the time fly by...Dexter, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story and hopefully S2 of Hannibal either in the fall or spring.

Yep, August 11th can't come soon enough (Breaking Bad premiere, for those that don't already know). Even though a couple seasons were disappointing, I'm still looking forward to how they tie-off Dexter, too.Man I finished Arrested Development this week and now GoT is ending. The only tv I'm looking forward to is Breaking Bad and Walking Dead.
All the girls I know who watch this are head over heels for Robb and mostly the ones saying that they are done with the show now. They are also all trying to convince themselves last week was just a dream or something and he'll still be alive so I can't wait to see their reaction to that spoiler image.
IRL you don't usually root for let alone admire the villain.
I think people have gotten to used to comic book villains that can be just as likable as the heroes. The Joker, Bane avatars everywhere(a terrorist), especially Loki, have people rooting for them. No one roots for Walder Frey, cosplays as Joffrey, that's how you know they're good villains.

Yep, it's stuff like the RW and aftermath that really make me think GRRM is a brave writer. A lot of us could think of some of these situations, but how many would have the guts to put it to paper and then wait to see how it's received (pretty sure I wouldn't). Would be so much easier to write to please the fans but he hasn't.
