I hope Joffrey kills all of his enemies and rules the world forever :1-1:

Joffrey for President!

I didn't care for whatever the ____ was happening at the end of the episode, but I guess if you can have dragons then you can have that kind of thing as well.

That was one of just a few examples of magic still existing in the realm. Martin doesn't overuse it, but every now and then there are scenes like that to remind you.

Of all people, Tywin Lannister was the last one that I expected to 'rescue' Arya and Gendry!

My favorite scene from last nights episode was Catelyn telling Baelish to **** off after he gave her Ned's remains. She should have stuck his ass for betraying her husband.

Robb is kicking ass, me likey. :yess:

The Red Priestess is one scary *****.

That is all.

Good. Because you can solve almost any problem in Star Trek by focusing tachyons through the deflector dish.

Magic has no rules. You wave a wand and and plot loose ends disappear.

Game of Thrones is too good to use magic as if it were a technobabble plot device.

Yeah, I'm a little worried that there will be a lot missing from the end of the second book, that it a LOT to put into six episodes.

They aren't going to even try to fit it. From what I've heard book two will spill into season three.

I just finished book 2 this afternoon. It was terrific. I do not remember the Joffery scene with the two chicks... they are really making him out to be an evil little punk. Love it!

There are definitely little changes but I think they are all done to speed up the story. There are only 6 episodes left and there is a TON of story left.

There is a lot of little changes in every episode.

Ah, Tyrion, please continue to rock on. You were all kinds of awesome in this episode, starting with you defending Sansa and ending with you putting Lancel (or what's his name) into his place.

I swear, Jack Gleeson plays such an amazing Joffrey. That kid sends chills down my spine every time I see him. The scene with Ros and the other prostitute was seriously messed up.

BTW Am I the only one getting annoyed with Littlefinger's behaviour? It really irritates me how he keeps confronting people in public. It's really not a good idea to piss off Margaery, Renly's queen in the middle of their camp.

As for the last with Melissandre, well, I know what happens next thanks to the books and it's always been one of the scenes I hated most. Call it wishful thinking but I was kinda hoping it wouldn't happen in the TV series.

I love the change they made with Tywin - means we get more Charles Dance and it doesn't change the story that much.

And the Melisande thing - much more interesting than I had imagined it.

Gotta be honest it takes a lot of perseverance to stick with this show if you're totally unfamiliar with the books. Peter Dinklage is why I keep coming back - and perhaps ironically the character of Joffrey despite my huge loathing for him.

I think reading the book right before season 2 premiered was a mistake for me. Since its fresh in my mind, and the book has soo many characters cut out from the show, I am watching every scene while doing some backseat 'directing.'

May have to wait and watch season 3 before reading book....argh

Personally I've never picked up the book but find the show engrossing.

Someone needs to kill Joffrey. And I don't want him to get off easy, like being eaten by a barrel of flaming rats. He needs to suffer.

Absolutely concurred. Perhaps a testament to the lad playing him though. Lets face it he's clearly being written to be hated and the actor is doing a brilliant job.
