Not sure why you sexperts are willfully ignoring what I am saying.

Sex scenes are ok, but not when they distract from the drama on the screen.

It's an interesting tactic you are employing by trying to make my comments seem extreme: ie sex is bad. That is not what I am saying at all. I am saying stupid sex is bad and the scene I was talking about (the hungry humping in the foreground while Ros was escorting a novice around the brothel) was stupid sex.

So yeah. Reread what I have posted and stop trying to make my comments seem larger than they really are. You can make your point without employing lame manipulative high school debate tactics. Just because you are surrounded by highschool kids doesn't mean you have to think like them. ;)

I completely agree, they need to tone it down a bit, if anyone is watching this show for stuff like that I have something to recommend to you, it's called porn.

. But inserting overtly prurient crap in a drama is like putting poop in brownies.

Great episode tonight! Jon's story is a bit different but everything else seems right on. We should be getting some exciting scenes over the next couple episodes! AND tonight boobs were not that distracting so maybe the forum doesn't have to argue all week this week!!! :)

After watching next week's preview I am thinking that next episode will end with ...

Renly's death or possibly even the shadow birth.

The warrior chick was quite an imposing figure. It had me wondering for a moment if there wasn't some sort of visual trickery involved.

Brienne "the Beauty"/Lady of Tarth was very well done. In the books, next to Tyrion, she's my favourite...

I liked how the director showed Tyrion ferreting out the Queen's spy on the Small Council with the cuts in mid conversation and although there are obvious differences to the book-- things seem to be moving at a very good pace for this season (and where it'll conclude).

I agree that next week'll defintely probably end with
Renly's death by the shadow birth.

Brienne is awesome and massive! The actress that plays her is 6'3" and beautiful. Can't wait to see her do some damage in battle.

Tyrion was masterful, giving these A-holes exactly what they deserved was awesome. I remember thinking that I'd love to see Pycelle get his comeuppance for the way he spoke to and about Ned last season.

The big payoff is watching Cersei lose her sh-- when Tyrion tells her he's arranged for her daughter Myrcella's marriage. All the more satisfying after watching Cersei's indifference to Sansa's emotional deterioration. Better still knowing that Myrcella was simply used as a tool by Tyrion and her fate was really quite random.

Another fantastic episode in what is in my estimation a flawless series.

Before I get into my thoughts / comments about last night's episode, I need to comment on one thing that happened last week that I forgot to comment on:

-Bronn as the new commander of the City Watch? A masterful stroke on Tyrion's part.

As far as last night's episode:

-Really heartbreaking watching Theon burn the letter he wrote to Robb Stark. I was afraid that this was the path Theon was going to take.

-Last season has showed those of us that haven't read the series (in my case, anything beyond Book 1) that no one is safe...Ned Stark, Drogo, Jory...but the GF and I were disheartened to see (just in case)

Yoren's death. I really liked that character.

Holy Amazon Batman! My jaw dropped when I saw her. She towered over the men, and completely dwarfed Catelyn Stark.

And...I should not have clicked on the spoilers in the previous posts..., but there is no one to blame but myself.

Really good episode. This week you could actually get into the story without a sex scene every five seconds. The little trick played on those three blabber mouth was awesome.
