Sadly, there are so many logical inconsistencies with season 8 that it's pretty hard to avoid, and contributes to why they went out with a whimper in my opinion. I'm willing to overlook something like that here or there. But in season 8, it went to an extreme. The strategies used in the battle against the White Walkers made no sense. Bran warging into the ravens didn't have any payoff. Varys drafting letters and taking off his ring didn't have any payoff. Jaimie's behavior made no sense.
The death of dragon #2 was ridiculous, particularly when after that, Dany just decided to fly headlong into the scorpions with no negative consequences. These are just the first few to pop into my head, but every episode I found myself disoriented about how badly things were executed.

Shame. Shame.

Dragon #2's death was shocking alright but probably for the wrong reason. Just didn't seem plausible they could hit the Dragon from that range, element of surprise or not. But since they could it then didn't seem likely that Cersei wouldn't take the opportunity to kill the last Dragon when it was stationary - on the ground - at much closer distance. Not to mention that it required some stupidity on Tyrion and Dany's part to give her that chance in the first place.

Yeah...a few too many WTFs about this last season.

That was my biggest WTF moment and not in Cersei's character at all. She would have taken that shot and then had all her bowmen rain down a thousand arrowheads on Dani and Grey Worm while Tyrion was safely clear.

Looks like Kit has checked himself into AA/Mental Health and Wellness center in Conn. It all might have been a little much for him what with the show ending and the fan reception to it. Wish him the best.

Agreed. I hope he has a speedy recovery. I wonder what career move he'll do next?

Well I've only seen him in one other thing, that lame faux tennis documentary on HBO, and he was pretty bad.

He might not have a post-GoT career at all. He didn't exactly tear the roof of at SNL either, but to be fair, that show is poop now.

Huh, I had heard he was getting treatment for something, but I actually know a little bit about this place. It's a few miles away from where I grew up, and I actually went there a few times to do some research as part of a project for an AP Psych class. Its basically a super exclusive rehab center for rich people who are under huge stress due to the demands of a successful career and have started turning to substances to cope. It treats any addiction as a symptom of underlying depression/poor coping skills rather than the problem in and of itself.

Glad he is getting help for whatever he is going through. Best of luck to him.

I saw the new sigil on Brienne, but didn't recognize all the details in Sansa's dress. The Tully scales are a very cool touch, as is reference to Margaery.

Another article pointed out even more detail in the gown. The Weirwood red leaves are incorporated into the design as well.

How interesting. Even more details. Now I want 3Z to make a figure of her which I wasn't really interested before. But I'm not sure if I prefer this "Queen" outfit or the black outfit with chain necklace that she was wearing in S8 just prior to it.

The jokes are all that we have now. It's unbelievable how the last season took such a **** turn even with the previous few seasons in mind which didn't exactly inspire much confidence in the quality of writing. The biggest joke of all is that I read the writing for the last episode(s?) are nominated for the Emmys.
