Where can one see a Jill statue in person without owning it? Or maybe you do? Just curious. Does HCG go to cons and display their stuff?

Ive got the Jill and Chris statues in my detolf and they look great together.
Simple as that.

however, listing the price as you did, you're not really taking into account that baby doll is a larger scale statue, with tailored clothing.

Forget about the scale and clothes, the actual face has a tiny bit more detail yet Jill gets slated for having a "pale" face even though Jill is a video game character.

YEah I look at these as "Stylized" or like you said Video game chars. Comparing them to a statue of a Live action actress is like apples and oranges.

Video game character has nothing to do with it, it's not like they are basing it off a in game model. They can have as much liberty as they want with giving it a realer looking texture, but all their paint apps are the same/flat.

At least with Babydoll, you can clearly see that they tried to give her different shades on her face like the blush on her cheeks.

Thank you been saying this for a while, while I used the word cheap it does look flat .

If the Jill statue had a bigger head, prettier face, slightly lighter skin tone with some pink here and there, and her left hand was more facing forward (or didnt have a 2nd gun at all) the statue would be great.

Its half great. The base id defy anybody to pick fault with. The boots, awesome. Skirt, shirt, tube top and harness with all the extras are great. Gloves are great and the watch is amazingly detailed for the scale. Love the finger nails. Love the guns. But being a skin heavy piece you really need to nail the skin and i think they should of put more effort in to such a prominent part of her look.

Excellent assessment. Her proportions aren't quite right and she doesn't seem curvy enough. You're right about her head being tiny for the body. I hate that Umbrella Chronicles duel wielding thing, one Samurai Edge would of been fine.

If you don't break up the paint app on such a heavy skinned figure as you said, it just looks like a mannequin.
