I feel the same. The Palisades vinyl statue had better paint detailing in my opinion.

I have that statue and I thought about flipping it to get this one, now I'm not so sure anymore.

I think the paint apps are cleaner on the HCG. The palisades ones are a little sloppy.
To clean and makes it look cheap.
It looks like a big bath toy. I think I'm cancelling my PO, it looks like ****.

The jacket needs some kind of wet look, the skin needs to be darker and more textured. The "meat" needs to look sore and fleshy :-/ its like cartoon Nemesis.
I hope they put their heart into the paintwork on the 1:1 bust. if it comes out looking like Simpsons Nemesis then i wont entertain the idea of it

It's like cell-shaded Nemesis
i dont collect resident evil but love the series. i did have the complete 10th anniversary neca figures mint in box til i sold them. and i gotta say id rather have a neca figure than this. everything looks just plain unfinished. the base is dismal. a couple of broken tiny bones and a grenade. cmon. the colors look like something out of bootleg china. i hope that they do a recall for repaints because i feel bad for anyone who bought this.
You people need to chill. Thats my photo I took that the poster that posted this on here took from statue forum. The photo was taken with my ****ty camera phone not for the purpose to make it look good but to stand it up against licker to compare scales. Youre freaking out about a perfectly fine, quality made piece. Anybody who critiques this as poorly made and hasnt seen this in person is sorely mistaken. If you want quality photos go to hcg's website. Its exactly the way it supposed to look when you get it.
No doubt in-hand it will look awesome. Things always(usually) do. But alot of us have been stung in the past by things not looking as good as the proto. And so far theres only 2-3 guys i know of who have taken pictures and at the moment they look a step down from the proto. Obviously if you have it ill take your word of its quality.
All we need is a guy do take a awesome photoshoot and write-up about it to show its as advertised in HCG's pictures and everybody will see it as a grail piece.

Hey guys i was the one who asked for a size comparison on the other forum as i have the licker dio,executioner and zombie cop and wanted to know how big Nemesis will look next to them. I am happy with the size as Nemesis should be bigger than a zombie or executioner. I also agree that the size comparison pic doesn't show off the Nemesis but it was for size comparison only not to get the best angle,lighting ect. I have taken pics of the licker dio ect so i can show people but it always looked bad and plain an didn't justify the pieces so i just use the pics of HCG website to show them off. I trust darkhumor and going off the previous 3 Resident Evil HCG pieces i have i know when Nemesis is on my shelf it will be awesome. 
LOL!! Yeah I used flash w/my camera phone and all the lights in my room were on, but like I said, photos werent professionally taken. Just a quick point and click. I do admit that the paint on the skin could have been more grotesque looking. The skin is pale enough. Its not as vibrant as it looks on hcg's website. Couldve used a tint of purplish for the skin. And the lacerations could use a touch up more of red to look fresh and raw. But everybodys a critic. It looks spot on like Nemesis how he's supposed to look. I dont have much other complaints about it other than it's got a detachable base and and rocket launcher.
paint will never change the fact that it is a completely plain figure. theres nothing special about it at all, they didn't even try. they got the figure good but the paint aps are horrible. stop being a fanboy and sticking up for crappy products. Again ill say the base is lackluster at best, have a nice day.

Ah.. you must be a hot "toy" doll collector, calling a statue a figure. It takes more hard work sculpting a (statue) and turning out quality work than it does 3d rendering a piece of plastic, dressing up your "figures" w/cute outfits and there cutesy little poses the way you want them to look. lol!! Get outta here. Your opinions ridiculous.

btw it doesnt matter the type of thing youre talking about,if it sucks were gonna say it does. my opinion matters as much as yours does. stop being lame. i respect that you like the statue, but dont act like its so bad that i commented. you didnt make it. but you did however spend what you spent. if you didnt like the answer get a 1080 camera (or at least 720p). then we can see the things we really care about. paint apps are crazy important. look at the issac statue. it was a complete disappointment.
Are you dense or something? Havent you been reading my posts. The pictures werent taken for quality but for scale comparison. Its your opinion thats fine but it's baseless at best when you dont have the product in hand. Im not going to take your opinion over somebody elses who has it in hand. Thats all im going to say.
im merely stating that id like to post with out being called names. apparently its not fine. you can stop being a baby now we all would respect that. im not dense. im actually really smart. you like it and i dont. in hand cant fix lack of depth and realism. dont post pics and get mad when you dont like the comments. stop liking what you see so much it blinds your perception of worth. its not worth what you paid. plain and simple. youre dense for buying it. that is all thank you.
