We don't really need the spoiler tag guys-- I just posted mine with the tag as I get to see the show at 8pm and thus I didn't want to spoil Nathan's death and Ali Larter's return for anyone... But let's talk openly about the stuff now as Volume Four is officially completed-- and it was a "season" of ups and downs.

I liked Nathan's death and knowing that Sylar will eventually return means he will die forever soon enough. When Peter finds out he's going to go balistic and that'll make for a climactic moment.

Glad though that I was right about Larter's character not being dead...

Unless Tracey is dead this is Barbara who has a water power. :lol

I have high hopes for next season, you've al read my posts so you know why. I won't annoy everyone saying it again. :) But the end of Volume 4 and the preview for Volume 5 showed alot of interesting plot points imo. Tracey murdering those agents, Nathan as Sylar, the return of the company with a less nefarious purpose. And I'm going to guess after everything Claire has been through and the fact she got her GED maybe they'll let her be an agent and we can see some movement instead of her being by where she is at the beginning of every season. My big question is which actor left the show, Sylar or Nathan? I'm wondering if Sylar left if they are going to have Nathan's character be the new Sylar.

Couldnt they just heal Nathan with Claire´s blood instead of lying to Claire(Possibly Peter) about Sylar being dead?
Matt could just manipulate Sylar to be someone else.I know it is supposed to be interesting and all with Sylar being Nathan now but c`mon...:banghead

Well I guess they could have, her blood healed HRG after he was shot in the eye. But I think that can be explained that whathisface (Elle's dad) had some and gave it to HRG right away, but too much time had passed for Nathan to be revived.

Last night as I was going to sleep I realized I missed something. How did they make Nathan look like Sylar?

I thought that too, but people over on the IMDB board are saying that her blood can only be used to heal somebody once and she already used it on Noah.

After Matt did his mental mojo on Sylar, Sylar started convulsing, turned to one side and when he turned back he was Nathan.

Edit: OOPS! I read that wrong. See Dally's post below.

They didn't. The body that burned was of the guy who originally had the shape shifting ability. Remember he was disguised as Sylar when Sylar killed him? They said that his body was in the freezer or something when they were talking about turning Sylar into Nathan.

I don't know what happened to Nathan's body.

I can´t remember that being mentioned...Can only heal someone once, that is just stupid. The blood she carries doesn´t change,so it doesn´t make any sense that she can heal someone else only once.If the excuse is if she looses blood she can´t heal someone i understand it but she lost alot of blood over the first 2 seasons before she healed Noah so...

Yeah it seems pretty stupid to me too, but apparently it was mentioned in a graphic novel or book somewhere.

Thanks Dally.

And I don't think the blood can only heal someone once explanation makes much sense. If that's the case they're going to have to explain that one in the show.

Yeah well Heroes has become quite a mess but i will keep watching it as it takes only 40 minutes of my time each week.

Now that I think about it the rule might be that Claire's blood only works on each individual person once. She had already used her blood to heal Nathan after Peter shot him in the beginning of the season. Either way they should have at least elaborated on it in last night's episode.

Didn´t Future Peter heal Nathan?I think he told Nathan that he healed him at the hospital.

Kinda hope that Sylar gets all his memory back and starts using Nathans look and power to do what he wants. Peter Finds out and they could have this fight.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/JlWyfb0Wj1A&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/JlWyfb0Wj1A&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Although that future was there cause of peter killing everyone by exploding and such.

Ok guys, am I the only one who hated the fact that they didn't show the sylar/nathan/peter fight? I have been looking for a "super fight" all season and I was really dissapointed that it wasn't shown.

If you ask me, inconsistencies like Claire's blood being usable only once are a clear indication of the show's writers painting themselves into a corner during previous seasons. This entire season was like an attempt to un-do some of that damage, like toning down Hiro's powers and taking away the majority of Peter's powers. I wouldn't be surprised if we learned that Claire's blood no longer heals "normal" people anymore.

And don't even get me started on yet another season of Heroes vs. Sylar. Can we not get a different bad guy for a change? I'm already less-than-enthusiastic about the prospect of another season of same old, same old.

Well the thing with Claire's blood isn't from the show itself so you can't really hold that against them. The other stuff...I think it could have made for some great plot points, but the way it was handled is like you say, undoing what was done previously. I think with something like this there has to be some trial and error though.

Having Peter be able to have all those powers worked great in the first season, but if it was becoming too cumbersome I can't blame them for wanting to change that. I think the idea of the way they made the change was good, even if it didn't come out so good in execution.

Hiro's change has the potential to be good. He's always been one of the driving forces for being a Hero. He's like every comic book geek that wished for super powers, and when he got them he used them for good and struggled with the morally tough decisions a hero sometimes has to make. For him to possibly be losing his power will be a big challenge for him to deal with. And while it wasn't made a big point in the show (and I think that was a good idea) think about it. Hiro put the good of the others above himself by continuing to use his power when it could have killed him.

Not that I'm saying you're wrong for the way you feel. It's totally justified, just trying to put a different spin on it.

i was too....i was really hoping that we'd get to see something cool. even if it was at the end of the fight they should've shown us something on screen. and let it be known that i HATE what is going on with the Nathan/Sylar thing.
