You mean the one depicting DC? They dealt with that a couple episodes after it was shown. Parkman got kidnapped and strapped to a bomb by Danko. But nothing came of it, the others managed to save him. That painting was one of the lowpoints of the season imo.

Do y'all think they're gonna kill off Peter or Nathan? They seem to want us to think that given the line about sacrifice and then Angela screaming like that and Sylar saying Claire would be upset with him.

Yeah, it was nice that he had a spot of good (didn't think they'd actually kill that kid)... then back to being evil.

Sylar killing a kid probably wouldn't go over too well. :lol

Yeah, I'm glad they defused that whole bomb story line. :monkey3

Yeah the painting was a big groan moment... but wasn't the explosion a gigantic one like Season one? How would bombs strapped to Parkman be that cataclysmic?

I told my wife last night that... I think Nathan will die... and she was upset about it... but it would be his chance for redemption...

A. We're not done with that
B. The writer's didn't care
C. The old writer's were going to bring it back up again but the new writers recognize it sucks.

Dunno which of the three it is, but those are my theories. Personally I hope its C.

I hate to see Nathan go, but I can see how getting rid of him makes alot of sense. His character has been all over the place which is probably a pain in the ass for the new writers. And as Kuzeh says it might gain him some redemption.

When Sylar first got the shape shifting power he would be in the same clothes. Now he is able to shift the clothes as well? I never knew that DNA also identified wardrobe...

Sure, it's more important to get into the character, but this seems like just lazy writing.

I did like Sylar and his mom though - that was a bit creepy.

From the previews it looks like Nathan dies, but it could be Peter I guess.

Good episode to end season four...

Season Five-- Redemption... and I'm glad that I was right about the water. It pays to be obsessed. :monkey3:naughty

Oh-- and can a hero ever really truly die?

Enjoy the episode if you're on the fence about watching it.

Since Sylar/Nathan has the absorbing memory power, he will prob come in contact with something of his and regain all his memories back from sylar. That blad freak had also had a conversation with him about keeping something with them to remind them of who they are.

:lol love the irony of the finale. It's like the "new company" is back where the old one started with more lies and deceit. :lol

I wonder if...
Peter knows that the real Nathan is dead. True he was the one who tranquilized Sylar, but he was never in the room when Sylar became Nathan. I think there is a possibility that he doesn't know and that might be explored in Volume 5.

I like that we are basically at a re-set now. Interesting to see where we go with Redemption. This really IS like a comic series though, 2 crappy runs and a reset to where we should have been. Also the show would work great with a "team" format. Claire, Peter, Angela, Matt, Nathan - awesome interactions.
